“Not sure when I first started using Postscript Books, but I was buying from them as long ago as May 2006. I get a (typically) 48-page monthly catalogue through the post which shows both the covers and provides a summary of lots of books at reduced prices. At those prices I, perhaps, buy books from them, that I probably would not buy at full price. I tend to keep the catalogues for at least a month so I sometimes buy from the "almost gone" section in a previous-month's catalogue.”

“I was in hospial, recovering from surgery in 2018 and I got talking to a man on the ward about books and my love of them. He produced the Postscript Book catalogue, announcing with a grin, "you'll love this then," and I did. I look forward to receiving my free catalogue every month and have bought loads of books for myself and family and friends. They sell a broad rage of subject from cookery to history, from novels to nature and gardening, academic to sports. There is something in the catalogue for everyone and their prices are heavily discounted. Ordering is easy online, and you books are despatched quickly.”

“I LOVE this website!!! I can browse all day and still not run out of choices and I will probably have to build new book shelves to accommodate all of the excellent books that I have already bought and that I know I will be buying in the future. Every book has been in really good condition, even when they have not been totally new and the sales are incredible. Their variety also means that I have bought some books on subjects that I would not necessarily have done but, as they were so cheap, they went in my basket, and I am so glad that they did. Cannot recommend this site enough.”

“Lots of interesting books of good value. Bought some Anna Jacob’s books recently which I hadn’t but the book about the Celts was disappointing. It had illustrations but they were just black and white on poor quality paper. I bought it because I like their designs, would have liked colour illustrations.”

“I live in a rural outpost, and it's not always convenient/easy to get to a bookshop when I want to. Postscripts has filled a gap - it's efficient and good to deal with, and a huge plus is that the packaging of the books is always excellent. I wish some other book dealers would learn from this. They don't always. I am a happy customer, and will continue to be so for a long time to come, I hope!”
