Good afternoon Tony Thank you for your review. As your order comes through customs, we have to, by law, show a delivery charge. This is included within the cost of the cartridges and is not extra. The price on the website, is the price paid. I hope this helps. Kind Regards Marianne

“Great delivery time goods as described, but unfortunately will not work on my HP printer I have tried everything they say in the manual and looked it up on google but to no avail. it still keeps telling me that I have a problem with my ink cartridge, so, unfortunately, will have to buy an HP cartridge for a small fortune, Will return the refilled cartridge”

“I buy 'Picture Expert' remanufactured printer cartridges from Printer Basics. The service is excellent and the quality good, but the increase in price (for 4 cartridges) from £6.97 in December 2019 to £19.89 in July 2020 seems excessive.”

Thank you for your review regarding the price increase of your compatible cartridges. Please allow me to explain the reason behind the movement in price. The majority of our compatible cartridges are purchased from China As a result of the Corona Virus in Europe, the collection of empty cartridges, the main component used in manufacturing, has been severely impacted. The cost of empty cartridges in China have therefore increased by 40%. Labour costs in China have also increased, as the availability of factory workers has been impacted by lockdowns and restriction of movement after Chinese New Year. In addition to the above, we have received a 5% increase in postal costs with effect from February 1st. If you take these price increases and currency fluctuations into account, you will see that we have not passed all of them on to our customers. I am sure that once retail and supply chains revert to normal, that price increases in most consumer goods purchased from China will be similar to those that you have experienced with your cartridges. I hope that the above explanation will satisfy you, and you are reassured that we are tryng to maintain the best prices and quality for our customers. “printer still not printing properly, i'm still unable to get black to go with the tri-colour i bought so hopefully when i get it the printer will work.”

“This cartridge works in my Epson printer. I couldn't see the volume of the cartridge anywhere.”

“Nothing wrong with the ink, good colour works well. The packing and shipping was the bad point. Not the fastest shippers in the world and just throwing carriages into a jif bag is not good enough. Package was well crush by the time it got to me.”

Dear Peter, Thank you for your review and I am sorry that you aren't happy with the speed of delivery, we advise 2-7 working days for delivery with Royal Mail and find that the majority of our orders do arrive within that time from, I do apologise if this wasn't the case for your order. With regards to the items being delivered in a jiffy bag, we do this so that the items can easily be put through your letterbox, if any item has arrived damaged we will happily arrange a replacement to be sent out to you. “I ordered inks for my hp printer in the description it said they were hp compatible but they weren't. The staff were very helpful and I got a refund but thought a but unfair I had to pay for returns postage as they were advertised incorrectly.”

“Colour ink worked perfectly it didn’t like the black ink, it is working but printer says cannot read how much black ink it has in it.”

“Really want to give you two and a half stars. Ordered 2 inks. Colour and black. Colour was perfect. Black is either faulty or empty.”

“I found the service and the price very good but my printer continually seems to reject the cartridges saying that it is out of ink and so much time is wasted trying to get the printer going I just wonder whether it's worthwhile getting the savings or whether I'm doing something wrong and should just go for the main brand product”

“Was a bit dubious about purchasing "Text Quality" black inkjet cartridge for my HP5652 printer at £2.88 each including vat and delivery but so far it's performing ok. I'll see how long it lasts compared to my previous compatibles but will seriously consider it's performance and price next time I am looking for cartridges. Sales lady was very helpful and not at all pushy, she inspired confidence in product.”

“The printer i ordered is great and worth the money i paid for it. The only issue i had with Printer Basics is with the delivery tracking system. I had to ask Printer Basics how/who was delivering the order and the tracking number and i got a link to track the order from Whistl whick stated delivery by ParcelForce. It stated that it was held in the depot and would be delivered at a certain date. I checked it at 9AM and it was still in a depot over 100 miles away and then about 1 hour later it turns up and the carrier is Hermes and then checking the tracking again it still says in the depot. The next day it still stated the same so do not rely on the tracking info as to when your order will turn up as it's not correct.”

I can see that this order number relates to ink cartridges which were dispatched via standard Royal Mail on 18/08/2018. We do not use Hermes as a delivery method. “I do usually purchase this ink for my HP and they work fine I have to say, but the last time my printer refused to recognise them so , in the end , I had to buy the original one :(”

“Goods fine, delivery company were appalling. They claimed we were not present when we were, the following day they said they could not find our house, it then took several days to get to their choice of collection point. Packaging damaged on receipt.”
