“I have been using pure sleep for 15 years but lately they don’t work. The molds aren’t as good as they used to be. In my opinion they don’t seal to my teeth properly and therefore I continue to snore.”

“Have used it for 4 nights now, and my husband is happier... he says no snoring at all. I find myself pushing it back on my teeth a little with my tongue as it gets loose as little during sleep from saliva... but ⁿthe suction from the teeth helps it stay in place ...comfortable fit too. Thank you for this device that finally works”

“Had in for 15 minutes. Started to get a headache. Maybe not doing it right. Felt comfortable when I formed it but I may be a wuss that it was uncomfortable when I was going to sleep. Are there any thoughts what I should do to make it more tolerable?”

Hi Kathleen, If you are having trouble sleeping because it's uncomfortable, that's the easiest thing to address because, when properly fitted, PureSleep is very comfortable after the initial acclimation period of three or four full nights of use. Until then, it can cause quite a bit of soreness in the teeth and gums and can cause the jaw to feel fatigued. But after about four full nights of use, it should be comfortable, and after a week or two, some people report that it's more comfortable than nothing at all because it gives their teeth a nice, soft "resting place" when they sleep. Also, if you didn't make a sufficiently deep impression of your teeth during the fitting process, it can also be uncomfortable. If you make a good deep impression of your teeth, then they fit into the device, like a hand in a glove. However if you don't make a sufficiently deep impression, the device will feel bulky and uncomfortable. So if discomfort is the reason you are having difficulty sleeping, there are good solutions, and you can also contact our customer support department for additional help in this area. If discomfort is NOT the reason you're having difficulty sleeping with your PureSleep device in your mouth, it's probably because you simply aren't used to sleeping with anything in your mouth. Most people can overcome this issue by simply wearing their PureSleep device for some period of time before going to sleep, just so they can get used to it. It's likely that this can also work for you. Then once you get used to using your PureSleep device, it should be possible to simply put it in your mouth immediately before you go to sleep. Finally, if you wake up in the middle of the night and your PureSleep device is bothering you, just remove it, go back to sleep, and use it again the next night. Each night, you should sleep longer into the night before having this problem, until in just a few nights, you should be comfortably sleeping through the entire night with your PureSleep device. “It’s not perfect but it certainly helps. My wife agrees and we both sleep better. I’ve tried 3 or 4 other types and gave them up quickly for either not working as well or less comfortable. I have lost count of how many of the Pure Sleep ones I’ve tried but certainly more the 30. My biggest complaint is lack of customer appreciation. They has been no change or improvement since the first set I tried yet the price has skyrocketed. Don’t tell me the costs have increased to the point that tripling the price is justified. A little respect to a long time, faithful client could be shown. I know you switched away from human service to strictly online as I used to get a 2 for 1 bonus occasionally but that’s gone and was told it was because you are now separated companies in the US and Canada. Humbug.”

“I used Pure Sleep a number of years ago and it was a great help to me. I use to snore so badly that I would wake myself up from the noise of it! Not to mention disturbing my husband's sleep. After losing a lot of weight due to a severe ilness, I no longer snored. But now, I have regained much of that weight and once again I'm disturbing my husband's sleep - not my own this time. So I ordered another PS device. I've been using it for two nights now. Sleeping well. Let's just say silence is golden: I don't snore and my husband doesn't complain about missing sleep because of me in the morning. Win! Win! Zzzzzz....”

“I only give it a 2 rating because it is just way to large for my mouth. A smaller version would be very much appreciated. I have a small mouth and this is just so large, it is very uncomfortable. And I still snored with it in my mouth, but I think that was because of the fit.”

“My wife and I slept separately for 10 years after we married in 98, I had diagnosed sleep apnea after a sleep study and tried all the prescribed solutions, none worked. I came across this and decided to gift it a shot and completely resolved my snoring. We have slept in the same bed since. Pulling the jaw forward is the trick.”

“Overall, this device did not work for me. I have a small mouth and found the device uncomfortable, and my teeth really hurt in the morning. Device seemed to keep me from coughing in my sleep and I didn't not wake up with as much dry mouth, but I continued to snore throughout the night. Returning.”

“I gave this device zero stars because I have yet to receive it. I ordered it on 1/5 and according to USPS it won’t be delivered until 1/18 four days from now. Can’t imagine why you would request a review at this time.”
