“My dentist had another patient who benefited and liked this product— so I had very high hopes. After 2 weeks of using it, I gave up. It is too bulky in the front so my lips would not meet. I could hold them closed while I was awake but hey separated as soon as I relaxed. I ended up mouth-breathing most of the night. I tried using tape to hold them together but the corners separated. My jaw was closed, so a chin strap would not solve the problem. After 2 weeks of excessive dry mouth I gave up. Also, instructions say to trim extra plastic with a sharp scissors. My sharpest scissors did not make a dent. I had to use a razor blade very carefully and it took a long time.”

“I followed the instructions and fitted the mouthguard and it was a good fit. I don’t think my jaw was forward enough and tried to fit it again, it fit well but was not to be adjusted where I needed it to be. I will be looking for another device that is more adjustable.”

“I had difficulty fitting the mouthpiece, it was too big for my mouth and I was gagging the whole time I was making the impression. Once I finished, the mouthpiece was not comfortable at all, the back was hitting my throat and that is the part you cannot trim. So, I cannot review if this works or not because I cannot even get it to fit.”

“I only give it a 2 rating because it is just way to large for my mouth. A smaller version would be very much appreciated. I have a small mouth and this is just so large, it is very uncomfortable. And I still snored with it in my mouth, but I think that was because of the fit.”

“Overall, this device did not work for me. I have a small mouth and found the device uncomfortable, and my teeth really hurt in the morning. Device seemed to keep me from coughing in my sleep and I didn't not wake up with as much dry mouth, but I continued to snore throughout the night. Returning.”

“Would love to give a very positive review, but this mouthpiece is so small I can't even test it out. If i position the mouthpiece so that the left side teeth are in, the right side teeth don't even touch the mouthpiece. They are completely on the outside of the mouthpiece. Unfortunately, I will have to return the PureSleep. Brent Stanley”

“I've used pure sleep for many years but the last 2 devices have been subpar. I know how to correctly fit them but the last 2 fit so loosely that they are useless. I have written twice with no replies.”

“I did not have a chance to use the product because the company failed to mention that your lower jaw will have a proclivity to stay forward after using the mouthpiece all night, and can take several hours with massaging the jaw muscles to loosen the jaw back into normal position. This is unacceptable for me and I feel like the company should list this in the online description of the product.”

“We returned the product are waiting for reimbursement! The info on product packaging and s different than online info of the company. More warnings about dental background etc. Decided to have this done by dentist.,Yes, more expensive but also may be covered by medical insurance. Not sure on return process, have not seen a credit yet!!!!”
