“We used Pyramid to supply carpet for one of our properties a couple of years ago and were very happy with them. However, we recently used them to supply carpet and vinyl for another property and an issue with the vinyl has still not been resolved after 7 weeks. I have sent photo’s of the problem and spoke to a member of staff who assured me that I would be contacted back but this has not happened despite me emailing and and phoning asking for an update. How a company responds to issues shows just how much they value customers and unfortunately Pyramid haven’t come up to scratch this time so I regret to say that we will not be using them again.”

Dear Mr Arnold, we made a genuine mistake which we have explained in detail. We offered options to you to allow the genuine mistake to be corrected by the parties to a contract. We suggest that if you continue to publicise the defamatory content on Google, you run a considerable risk of being in breach of the Laws relating to defamation. We hope that it is not necessary for us to remind you that in publishing content that identifies a company or individual online you must ensure that the facts and not allegations are published. I am asking you politely to edit your defamatory statement within the next 48 hours. Unfortunately if it is not edited within this timeframe, I will have no alternative but to take legal action against you. many thanks Pyramid Carpets

Dear Mr. Arnold, Further to our conversation, I can now see you have removed the word "criminal". You informed me you will not be editing any other allegations - "Don’t do business with them as they’re unreliable", "they are a total mess and not honestly trading". We made a genuine and honest mistake! As a small local business your review is severely damaging to our reputation that I will not ignore. As someone who is quoting the law to us, you will be aware of laws relating to defamation. I have given you the opportunity to amend your review to the facts. Your refusal now leaves me with no alternative but to pass this on to our solicitor to take legal action. Regards Pyramid Carpets

“Great service in terms of measuring up and providing quote, however when it came to fitting the carpet i have had to complain 4 times as carpets not fitted properly. Carpets not pulled tight enough or put down correctly around the edges, a month after fitting they are peeling up around the edges. Also fitter left and had put a slice in my living room carpet after coming to correct it. Also had to have my stair case and landing refitted due to them being such low standard. 2 months later i still dont have a great carpet as still not been sorted. fitter blamed the damage on pets pulling up around the edges however i have no pets.”
