“Quasar Expeditions planned and made our trip possible and we would definitely use them again! They were well organized and their guides were very personable, knowledgeable and spoke great English. Diane and Ana Maria in Ecuador and Peru really helped us and made us feel special. I have already recommended your services to friends. My husband, Bob Crane uploaded a couple of pictures.”

“The crew was spectacular. From the guides who took a personal interest in all of us to the kitchen crew who fed us very tasty and filling meals to the cleaning and maintenance crew who kept things nice and functioning well. A great group. The evolution was really a great place to spend a week or two. And who can say enough about the Gallapagos. Spectacular snorkeling! Great land tours. Unbelievable animals above and below the water. I will always remember my time spent on these islands.”

“We had an amazing experience on the Evolution. The staff made sure everything was perfect! The excursions were well planned and so much fun! The Naturalists were exceptional. Everything was amazing and we’d love to book Quasar again!”

“Professional and helpful. We used Quasar for the Grace but also an Amazon adventure as well as exploring the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. All details were considered and we will recommend Quasar to others”

“I couldn't recommend any more highly the gorgeous, fun and active week aboard the Grace Yacht. It was a perfect week, with an incredible crew, naturalists, just every single person - couldn't have been more gracious, generous, kind, fun and incredibly accomodating. The Galapagos is an incredibly special place - the islands, the animals, the sea life the flora and fauna, the sunrises and sunsets and everything in-between - I learned so much ~ our naturalists were incredible and made each day magical as did every single person from booking this trip; not a detail they didn't consider. I would take this trip again no question. Thank you Quasar!”

“This was a trip of a lifetime. It was such a privilege to spend time in this important ecosystem, to see firsthand the diversity of organisms, and witness Natural Selection directly. The Naturalists were extraordinary with the right balance of information and wonder. The accommodations were spectacular. Quasar thought of everything that was needed to make our trip memorable.”

“Quasar was great to work with. We had to delay our trip by a year and it was no problem. The booking went very well and any questions we had were answered quickly and fully. They handled our covid test before going on the ship and again before we flew home. We were very impressed and appreciative of the ground staff at the Guayaquil airport who had our necessary paperwork and expedited us through security.”

Thank you for your review and we are happy to hear that you enjoyed your crew, guides and excursions in the Galapagos. We're sorry to read your comment about the goat killings in the Islands, something which was likely a topic of discussion during one of the nightly briefings from our naturalist guides. The greatest danger to the Galapagos and its unique fauna is the introduced species. These include animals like rats, cats, dogs and goats that were brought by humans to the Islands many years ago. At one time, goats were overrunning many of the islands of the archipelago and threatening the future of the Galapagos giant tortoise by eating all their food. The National Park took action and, over many years and with great difficulty, removed goats from the archipelago ensuring the future of the endemic Galapagos tortoises. We do agree with you that animal eradication is a sensitive subject, even when it's done to ensure the survival of another species. We have let our naturalists know about your comment so that they can talk about the issue in a different tone to future guests. “We loved our trip to the Galapagos with Quasar. The yacht was very nice and comfortable. The crew was outstanding and the naturalists were Knowledgeable and fun to be with. The food was very good. A trip of a lifetime and we are very happy that we chose to travel with Quasar.”
