“Superb in all respects. Only black mark: the supplemental fee for gas. After paying almost $20,000, the extra $150 fee was insulting and inappropriate.”

“We had the experience of a life time. It's a magical place and Quasar and the Evolution made the experience enjoyable, personal, and accessible. The staff and guides on the Evolution fostered building new relationships between the guests. We have remained in contact with many friends we met onboard. The food was delicious and the menus were varied. I highly recommend it. Thank you Bolo, Feddy, Ellie, Aldo and Chef David.”

“An excellent two weeks. Meals were spectacular and healthy, crew responsive and very willing to be of service. They worked really hard on our behalf. Facilities were very clean and kept that way. Would have been nice to have a few more free weights. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. Only one guide, Alex, did not always participate fully on the snorkeling adventures. When Bolo or Fede were our guides, they would dive down to show us underwater creatures which we might not have otherwise seen due to camouflage, which was most helpful. After the first snorkeling experience, I was reluctant to enter the water again because it had been rough. Bolo refused to allow me to hang back and took me by the hand, which permitted me to feel comfortable enough that I no longer needed his help for the rest of the time. While he had me by the hand he had one of the young children in our group on his back because was afraid too. He was really gentle and comported himself with elegance. Fede was so enthusiastic about everything and a delight, as was his music”

“Our cruise on the Grace was epic, a true bucket list adventure. The food and service was excellent, the accommodations were great, and the naturalists were fantastic. It really could not have been better except i do wish we had more access to the internet and it was easier to connect.”

Hello David, Thank you for your great review and we're thrilled to hear you had a great time aboard the Grace in the Galapagos. Regarding your comment on the internet service onboard, unfortunately this is an issue that is outside of Quasar's control. We provide the absolute best service and satellite internet connection that is available in the Islands which, as you experienced, unfortunately isn't very good. It is mainly limited to email, texting and other online messaging services. The population of the Galapagos is less than 30,000 individuals and there are only 4 places where people live, with the majority of islands remaining uninhabited. Therefore telecom companies are inclined to improve internet services in the Galapagos, simply because there are hardly any customers and the islands are dispersed over a large area with most islands being a wilderness area. “Trip of a lifetime to the Galapagos with Quasar! Their service was great, from pick-up, to excursions in Equador to on-board service on The Grace yacht. All of the Quasar folks were so nice, and well-informed. We especially loved the naturalists on board The Grace, Monica and Sophia, who worked well together and were a pleasure to spend so much time with. I would recommend this trip to anyone!”

“Quasar Expeditions provided an excellent experience for us. The staff was top notch and the guides were fabulous. Everything was taken care of seamlessly and with the utmost attention to detail. We were able to relax and enjoy the entire trip without a care in the world as we were transported into a part of the world that exists as nature at its best. Wonderful experience overall!”

“This was the ultimate vacation! Quasar Expeditions did a marvelous job in getting all our needs taken care of - from the booking of our dream vacation to hotels between trips and transfers plus Covid testing as needed. “We did our Galapagos adventure safari from May 14 -21, 2022. The experience met and exceeded our expectations. The three guides were all excellent and invested in our experience. The food, Chef David, was wonderful and accommodated my vegetarian needs. The Evolution is a great boat. Comfortable cabins (though really just there to sleep and change clothes), and wonderful outdoor spaces, both covered and uncovered. We loved dining outdoors, as well as the outdoor bar and snacks space one deck up. Finally, the staff and crew seem to have invented the word "hospitality." We were so cared for and spoiled that the return to home life has been a challenge!”

“We had a wonderful trip on the beautiful Grace. The knowledgeable naturalists, Lenin and Walter, guided us with information, care and humor : ))). The meals were as beautiful as they were delicious. The chef greeted us every night to make sure of our satisfaction. A smiling bartender kept us supplied with beverages, kind crewmembers helped us to and from the pangas and the beautiful Scarlet announced "good morning, good morning" every morning. The weather was perfect, the other guests were a delight, and the towel sculptures made me laugh every night--what's not to love? This was a beautiful experience and will be a lasting memory!”
