This was without a doubt, the trip of a lifetime. The amazing Evolution, friendly and knowledgeable crew, unforgettable wildlife, and scenery that makes you feel like you are on another planet, will never be forgotten. I would recommend Quasar to anyone who wants to experience one of the most amazing trips they could imagine.

Quasar Expeditions' trip to Patagonia was excellent. The lodge/hotel accommodations were superior, and the food was on par with a deluxe restaurant in any large city. Driving the Jeeps on paved and unpaved roads was an adventure not to be experienced elsewhere. The panoramas of glaciers, mountains, and the lakes gave this photographer lots of great photos. The flora and fauna were interesting - I've never seen so many guanacos or flamingos. We had guides to point out the highlights, but I'd be glad to try self-driving because of all the information provided in the Jeep on iPads. One flat tire was easily replaced, and having a satellite phone for emergencies was a comfort in case there were situations one could not handle. Luckily, there were none. I had such a good time that I wasn't ready to come home!

Amazing trip and great experience at Galapagos. All was pretty good and at the end of the day it was much over our expectation. Just small things could be better (for ex. We have tried to book a scubadive during the trip, but had no answer back), but nothing really important. Congratz Quasar Expedition.

I cannot praise Quasar enough for making our trip to the Galapagos as perfect as could be. Everything about the experience was five-stars, from first email contact through the last goodbyes at the airport. Before the trip we experienced the best in customer service and thoughtful planning, preparing us for every step of the process. Once on the trip, the naturalists were extremely knowledgeable and experienced; the crew was professional, friendly and gracious. As vegans we were feted with specially prepared dishes at every meal, an extra effort we could not have anticipated and impressed us deeply. It was the trip of a lifetime.

Our week in the Galápagos on the Grace was an especially great trip because of the seamless support and professionalism of the ships guides and crew. The small yacht experience gave us maximum flexibility when hiking, snorkeling, or taking advantage of an unexpected creature sighting. The boat was comfortable...especially the outdoor spaces, and food, equipment, and guides were top notch. Our pre trip contact with the Quasar office was also very quick and efficient.

Quasar Expeditions is a fantastic company that really knows how to showcase and explore the Galapagos islands. The boats are small yet comfortable. The crew and guides provide the best island (read: animal viewing) tours and because of the boat size the places for snorkeling opportunities could not be better. Whether it was playing with sea lions underwater or swimming near penguins or watching courtship rituals with blue- green-and red-footed boobies (and so much more), Quasar Expeditions did it all. Do yourself a favor and go with the best! You'll be glad you did.

The ship's crew, Naturalists, hotel staff, land personnel, and itinerary were excellent as was the food! Minor problems on the ship which the crew tried to fix. Sea conditions were quite choppy but liveable. Saw many species up close, enjoyed the walks and snorkeling. Good blend of passengers who got along very well.

My family had a fantastic vacation on the M/Y Grace. Our guides were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Our cruise director and the entire crew were very friendly and helpful. We thought everything was planned and executed very well, from the activities to the food. We enjoyed the size and style of the M/Y Grace, with only 16 passengers the cruise felt personal and special. We would highly recommend Quasar and M/Y Grace for a cruise to the Galapagos Islands. Diane Schicke, Quasar customer service manager, answered all my questions with patience and helped us find the cruise that worked great for our family. A couple of other notes: I get motion sick easily and was concerned that a small boat would not be the right choice. I used the patch behind my ear and I did not get motion sick on the M/Y Grace. Our rooms were on the lower deck C1 and C3, the air conditioners were noisy. It would be nice if they were quieter.

Hi JS, Thank you for your review and for your detailed feedback. We're glad to hear you had a fantastic family vacation on Quasar's Grace Yacht. We're also happy to hear that you did not get motion sickness while on the cruise, as we understand this is sometimes a concern among Guests when choosing a yacht versus a larger ship in the Galapagos. Grace Yacht is also fitted with stabilizers for smooth sailing, which we are certain contributed to your enjoyment while on the yacht. Regarding your comments on the air conditioning system, these were transmitted to our maintenance team aboard the yacht soon after your cruise and they have been fixed for all future Guests. We apologize that you found the A/C system a little bit noisy during your departure. As always, we take the feedback of our Guests very seriously and always welcome constructive comments that can help us improve our experience. Thanks again for choosing Quasar and we look forward to welcoming you in one of our other destinations in the future. Sincerely, ~ The Quasar Customer Service Team

It's like summer camp without the rules, and much better food.

Painless way to explore a remote area of the world that would typically be outside of our comfort zone.

From being met at the airport, the hotel recommendation and booking in Old Town Quito to the experience on in our opinion, one of the most beautiful ships in the Galapagos, Quasar delivered hands down. Quasar is one of the higher end experiences in the Galapagos but it is absolutely beautiful. Top notch and attentive staff, great food, beautiful rooms and a graceful ship made for a great experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Quasar to anyone.

Simply Amazing! The ship, the tour, the guides, the staff, the FOOD!! and all of the wonderful sites. A truly 'once in a lifetime' experience. Have already recommended to others. Will do it again in a few years when my daughter is old enough to appreciate. Wonderful at answering questions before the trip, providing guidance for packing and flights, accommodating a food allergy, laid back atmosphere, very relaxing and entertaining. Everything was seamless, for a truly memorable adventure!

The boat was very attractive and comfortable -- both the staterooms and the common area. What made our trip so special, however, was the staff. The crew was wonderful, and the National Park Service guides were top notch. Both in their nightly briefings and while taking us on excursions they provided the right kind and the right amount of information, and they made an effort to get to know everyone. We were three generations, and we all had a tremendous time!

Wonderful cruise with great naturalists. Felt safe the entire time. Loved the land tour especially the farm. Food on the boat was fantastic and way more varied than I was anticipating. Crew was great and was super with my 3 girls - aged 9, 9 and13. Never any rough seas. One addition I would have appreciated would have been a night with the stars - since we were so far from any light contamination - it could have been great.

Quasar expeditions looked after us wonderfully in every way. Our cruise of the Galapagos Islands on My Grace was amazing, the naturalists Rafa and Walter were exceptional and the crew looked after us very well. Very happy we chose Quasar and My Grace. We were looked after from the time we landed in Ecuador until we were delivered to the airport in Quito for our flight home. The guides that Quasar provided were terrific, they enhanced the quality of our experience / time in Ecuador. They were knowledgeable, personable, loved their country and had great language skills. In spite of the fact we only speak or read English we left feeling like we had learned a bit about the people and history of Ecuador. Thank you very much! Joyce and Rick Castonguay Calgary Canada

Our trip was outstanding. Everything from the clean, spacious room to the delicious food, the warm, eager-to-please staff and guides was perfect. This was a totally relaxing vacation - no internet - that far exceeded our expectations. We look forward to going again when our grandchildren are old enough to enjoy it.

Patagonia is spectacular by itself, but Quasar makes the perfect Patagonia escape easy and effortless. Tasha and Martin put to rest every doubts we had the months and weeks prior to leading a group through Patagonia. We stayed at top notch hotels in remote locations with staff that felt like family by the end of our 4 days. I would, and do, recommend Quasar Expeditions to everyone I know. With Quasar you without a doubt are in the best hands. Thank you Tasha, Martin, Alexandro & Dario for every ounce of work, time and love you put into our Patagonia adventure.

Our trip to the Galapagos (San Cristobal to Baltra/Santa Cruz) was excellent in every way. The ship and the accommodations were comfortable and quite nice. Room with private bath was spacious and well appointed. The excursions and briefings were amazing, in part, because of where we were, but especially because the guides themselves were incredible. Their knowledge and ability to communicate information was top notch; both guides were also kind, caring and entertaining. The ship's crew could not have been more attentive and supportive of all our needs. Food service was excellent. There was an interesting variety of items - all tastefully prepared. The entire staff and crew made everything seamless, safe, and pleasant. I appreciated the tremendous amount of behind-the-scenes work they performed, e.g.,sailing from point to point, wonderful meals, taking care of our snorkeling gear, cleaning cabins, etc. The small ship size and the personal attention sets Quasar apart from the larger operators. It was a pleasure to make friends with all participants and to enjoy every activity with a small group.--Toni
