I am a "backyard mechanic" and pulled the old radiator, along with the transmission cooling unit, without much trouble. I was pleased to find the new radiator had mounting holes and bottom support (feet, studs, guides??) that fit exactly in place for the tranny cooling unit etc. I completed the job successfully with a test drive to prove no leaks.
