Been there done that...so not worth it. If it's bad, it's bad. So I called RADIATOR NOW and explained my situation to a very nice person on the phone. She said send us some pictures and we will get another one out.
I was a little surprised at the customer service thus far although I had no preconceived notions of what to expect. But I did expect being taken care of, and I was!
Was I ever! Since this was on a Friday late afternoon (and they're closed on weekends)
I was told first thing Monday they would take care of it. So I waited two days to hear from them about getting a replacement out. Well...I waited till about 1:30 Monday afternoon when my "alarm dog" started barking. It was FED EX. FedEx?... The driver approached my door with a box big enough to hold a radiator. Why you ask...
Because...it was a radiator...?
I eagerly examined the box before opening to see what I could expect and no holes!
No damage to speak of. Yeah slightly wrinkled as boxes do in shipping...but no real damage. Still holding my breath, I opened the box gently lifted my new radiator out and examined it. Flawless! I was shocked. I ran out to my truck and started putting it back in and thought...hey this wasn't scheduled till the end of the week what's the rush?
( because that's when I expected the replacement radiator to show up) I was so excited I stared gathering up tools. You know how fun that is!!!
Moral of the story. Instead of calling me to tell me they had shipped it (expedited)
It just showed up. SURPRISE!
