“Really like the chocolate and vanilla plant protein powders; higher in Leucine than many other plant protein powders on the market. Will try the post-workout smoothie mixes soon. Fast delivery a bonus!”

“I liked the breakfasts, the berry ones and the apple cinnamon. I tried the Mexican Chilli and it was nice also but not the Smokey BBQ. Too flavourless”

“As a vegetarian, love these meals! Don't need to supplement with dehy vege as so many included. My only wish is that you formulate compostable instead of single-use packaging; I would rather tip contents into billy and avoid huge amount of waste created by packets - thanks”

Hi Stacey, sustainability is one of Radix's core values and we are always looking for ways to improve our packaging. Currently, our meals are recyclable under soft plastics recycling schemes in NZ. We continue to search for more sustainable packaging options however we must take into consideration the elements in which customers often take our food and the importance of packaging in maintaining a safe shelf life for freeze-dried products. “Love the small packaging and low quantity of water required to rehydrate; the flavours are good and the energy density is great - only requests would be more meat-based meals - and a cooked breakfast (something with bacon and eggs in it!)”

“I placed my order through gearshopnz, the despatch was fast, staff were very informative and delivery was almost next day which is a good effort in these times. I really enjoyed the meals on an extended hunting trip. The smoothies taste amazing but the packaging would be improved with a corner removal cap as I like to prepare them inside the sachet. Fill them up with water in the morning and leave them in pack until first break where they're consumed.”

“Tried the mint lamb and it was great! Enough for two people, which was a bonus. The barbecue beef was overly seasoned so we didn’t finish it. Very easy to make meals, carry well and durable packaging otherwise”
