“Tried the recovery smoothie, both berry-banana and cocoa-banana. Both are good, but would be excellent if not for the slightly bitter aftertaste. This might be due to the sweetener used (monk fruit) or something else in the mixture. Research on removing this aftertaste is warranted, in my opinion.”

“First time Radix user. I had been looking for options to add more protein into my diet and thought to try the plant based powder Radix offer. I opted for plant based over the dairy based as I find that too much dairy gave me sinus issues. Only been using it for a few days but enjoy the taste so will get another lot and evaluate the result over the next six months.”

“The sport I play demands a lot physically and to prevent injuries i need to make sure my body/muscles are strong and able to recover - I'm really excited to start using Radix's Whey Protein as part of my training programme to see how it can help. “It's hard to find nutritious tramping meals, especially ones which cater for dietary requirements. These are fab: tasty, super lightweight, loads of veggies and no onions! The keto, veggie and vegan ranges are great offers too. Ka pai Radix!”

“I liked the breakfasts, the berry ones and the apple cinnamon. I tried the Mexican Chilli and it was nice also but not the Smokey BBQ. Too flavourless”

“As a vegetarian, love these meals! Don't need to supplement with dehy vege as so many included. My only wish is that you formulate compostable instead of single-use packaging; I would rather tip contents into billy and avoid huge amount of waste created by packets - thanks”

Hi Stacey, sustainability is one of Radix's core values and we are always looking for ways to improve our packaging. Currently, our meals are recyclable under soft plastics recycling schemes in NZ. We continue to search for more sustainable packaging options however we must take into consideration the elements in which customers often take our food and the importance of packaging in maintaining a safe shelf life for freeze-dried products.
