“Do not use! I stupidly signed up and the website navigated to properties but the site was hard to use and pop ups everywhere. The properties and contact to landlords were not contactable . Realised a bad site so went to cancel immediately but couldn’t cancel within 24 hrs. The do this so you forget about it .. like I did and saw pending payment of £35 coming out so tried to stop it but bank said cancel subscription. Realised that I couldn’t get a refund after they had taken payment to took that on the chin for being an idiot and cancelled on their website - this took ages and no one picked up phone! 3 mths later I see a payment has come out of my account. I look back and they have taken 2 other payments I have missed!!! I called my bank to put a hold on my account! They are investigating fraud I have not got an account with them anymore .. cannot even sign in with them and receive no emails , newsletters or any correspondence. Fake ! Looking back at reviews ( should have done this before signing up) they have SERIOUSLY bad reviews and looks like they work in many countries world wide ! They have taken fortunes off people. Do not sign up to pop ups!! Lesson learnt”
“MISLEADING information on the website. Before you realise they will deduct the money. They will tempt you pay £1 for trial period of 7 days. It displays property details in Rentola with less price and when you open the property it will be a different price which is much more than advertised by Rentola. Before you realise there are discrepancies in the property details Rentola deducts £35 from your bank account. Tempting people to opt for trial period with £1 (which is not helpful by any means) and deduct money thereafter. Requesting customer support is no use, if you are late for one day to cancel subscription or forgot to cancel, they will not refund. I feel Rentola is FAKE”
“I paid for subscription and I found some houses as I was looking for. RENTOLA showed the houses, price and as DIRECT TO LANDLORD. It isn't true
When I followed the link ALL PROPERTIES showed as AGENCIES and MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE.
Is it honest?”
“Just found out they've been taking -$55 from my account for over 3 months ! I'm a student so this has really negatively affected me. Pretty sure all I did was respond to/write emails. Horrible ! Scam, watch out !!”
“Scammers. Criminals. Capitalising on the housing crisis in the UK to steal from people trying to find a home. As if the agents and landlords weren't enough now we have rentola.”
“Fake ads! Real estate doesn't exist. Do not enter into a test phase and do not provide any credit card details!
Had seen a house, was looking very urgently - had to register with credit card details and thought the landlord wanted to make sure they were serious. So I signed up for the test phase. I then called the real estate agency shown, which was activated through the test phase, and when I said I was calling Rentola about the ad, the agent IMMEDIATELY said that Rentola thinks up advertisements in order to get credit card details with the hope that people don't have to cancel in time and pay for them Fake ads. She still looked and confirmed clearly that the property in question DOES NOT EXIST and that they don't have anything comparable in their repertoire. Luckily I come from a family of lawyers. Rentola is now being sued in Ireland (company headquarters), Spain (location of the fake property) and Germany (residence). Criminal charges will be filed this week and appropriate criminal charges will be filed.”
“They have not responded to 3 of my emails. They took money from my credit card and a few days later, a payment from my bank account. I do not know what the 1st payment is for and they just do not get back to you! They dont have a phone number so you cant even call them. dreadful company!!! DO NOT USE!!!”

“PODVOD! Přihlásila jsem se pouze na první týden za 25 Kč. Nevědomě jsem byla přihlášena k pravidelnému strhávání předplatného 975 Kč každý týden, peníze se mi samy strhly z účtu! Poté jsem se okamžitě odhlásila, ale obávám se, že to nestačí, viz komentáře níže...”
“A con, rentals come up for where you are searching and to access them fully you pay 1€ for 7 days. Once you pay the area you are searching in has no rentals.
What’s the point of creating this as the reviews will speak for themselves”
“Rentals.com is more than scammer. They do robbery money from every people, who just sign up, without notification they robbed my money. During sign up they take unclear consent to charge subscription fees. It is not fair, just stupid company. They also use free materials from the virtual website, but they do charge for signup only, no service, only business with unethical fraudulent robberies. Just avoid this website.”
