“I find the website very useful, but there are a few things that would be helpful. A floorplan for every house. Some agents only put one or two pictures on the site. This always says to me that there is something to hide, although from experience this is not always the case. The street maps are good, The satellite maps are interesting, but an OS map showing the contours would be very useful. Not everyone has access to a car and the elderly or mums with a buggy do not want a property on a steep hill. This could only be discovered when going to view, and would be a no no even before entering the property.”

“Convenient, easy to use website. The search criteria could be improved by adding extra criteria like swimming pool, vaulted ceilings, etc. The app could offer more countries but generally it's great and is my favourite website and app for buying, selling or renting property both at home and abroad. I use it a lot and highly recommend it!”

“I have 2 points to suggest: 1) You may want to look into developing another site that allows individuals to advertise their properties other than estate agents 2) You may want to oblige estate agents to inform the viewer if the property is a leasehold or not + how many years left + maintenance fees for building where applicable. Many estate agents I've noticed rush to upload an add when they do not have all the basic information. It be great if the site would force the 'vendor' to include basic information so as to avoid the viewer waste their time phoning-up and waiting.”

“My partner and I have been looking for a new home for ourselves for over 6 months. Rightmove made the process a whole lot easier, we down loaded the apps to our I pads which made it very straight forward to monitor the market on a daily basis with our search criteria entered in and saved with the ability to vary the criteria if we chose to. It took a lot of hassle out of the process which at my age, I have experienced several times in my life already so have awareness of the 'olden days!'.”

“before i put my house on the market i went on various sites to find out about property that was up for sale in my area.so i could get some idea of what i should put my house on the market for.16 years ago they were up for sale at a hundred and sixtyfive thousand pound,they were selling now for hunded and fifty thousands,in my area they have come down yet again to hundred and twentyfour thousand that is for a 3 bed semi and the 2 bedrooms are going for ninety thousand up to hundred and twenty thousand”
