“Rightmove is the first place I go to when studying the house market. I have alerts set to keep an eye on the local market and also look to help friends and family with their searches. I like what you can do with the maps and also that it extends overseas. I would give a higher mark if the searches were a bit more advanced. For example I was looking for an investment property in France and wanted to be able to specify that I need 8 rooms all with en-suites OR that I would like a main house plus annexe. There needs to be a few advances made to the site now as it has been very similar for years and time has moved on.”

“Best place to find properties for sale or to rent, including overseas. I would like to be able to specify the type of property more easily. At the moment it's only possible either state 'all properties' or specify just one - i.e. Bungalows. What isn't possible as far as I can see is to eliminate certain types, i.e. flats”

“Easy to use, easy to sort properties by price or most recently listed, and also select type of property etc. Particularly like the function whereby you can define an area of interest using a map.”
