The service was OK. But the costs were too high for a small business like mine, the dashboard is clunky, and the cancellation period was 8 months. I've now got a much cheaper service from another supplier, with a 30-day cancellation period, and a simplified dashboard. It has all the functionality we need, and simple VOIP phones.

We have been and are still, experiencing a 3 to 5 second voice delay in all our incoming and outgoing phone calls. I first reported this to RingCentral in April 2022, case #15021401. Over the next 4-months RingCentral’s Tech Support had us scrambling around calling each other’s cell phones, homes phones, and friends’ phones repeatedly documenting the date of the call, time of the call, the cell service used, length of the call, and the length of voice delay. We did this for each call, outgoing and incoming. This went on for several months with no explanation, and no fix. I finally stopped all of this because it was taking too much time away from company business. Well, they have not. Today we are still making company phone calls from our cell phones, and still have a 3 to 5 second voice delay problem on every outgoing and incoming call. Sadly, I do not believe RingCentral has a clue on how to fix this problem. Too much time has passed. We have paid RingCentral on time, every month, and have received zero competent service. It’s time for us to move on with another VOIP company and get our refund form RingCentral.

Shocking support, lengthy times on hold and make it almost impossible to leave. Beware their annual contracts, go a day over and you are tied in for another 12, 24 or 36 months. Don’t believe when they offer discounts to stay only to try and tie you into another lengthy contract. Their dashboard is confusing and dated, belonging on a Windows 98 PC. I don’t enjoy spending hours on the phone to be continuously be given technically incorrect information to prevent me from being able to port my numbers out. Beware of this company and their shady contract terms, business practices and poor support.

Their customer service & cancellation policy is a joke....I was actually going to move forward with trying it out for a few months until I was left of hold twice, for over 30 minutes, then disconnected. AFter 5 days, I finally got a call back, with an email confirmation of cancellation. The next day they STILL billed me. Instead of staying on permahold, I decided to just dispute the charge with by credit card company. BE VERY WARY OF COMPANIES THAT MAKE YOU JUMP THROUGH SEVERAL HOOPS TO CANCEL>>>

Ring Central does very little to support their customers. You'll run a gauntlet of hidden charges, careless account managers, and people who barely English. They had the gall to try to charge my credit card for another year of "service" after I cancelled the account and ported my numbers out to Grasshopper. When you call in for help, they give you the runaround, shift you from one person to another, and no one can help, but always the other guy can. They tell you the price will be one thing, but it's always higher. Did I mention that they charged my card AFTER I DISCONTINUED SERVICE? Avoid vigorously.

This Company has a large Internet presence which is misleading, they advertise their services as simple to setup and use and they provide top quality support.  For me this is simply not true. Actually I'm quite glad RingCentral 'suck' as I found a superior service cheaper from Vonage. For me, Ring Central is not simple to set up and use and they do not offer Top Quality Support, and in their own words is only suitable for larger organisations Although other voip providers work on my networks (UK and US) Ring Central system kept registering and de-registering. I also used Ring Centrals own tools to test QOS and VOIP capability - they all passed no problem. Jery Mendoza level 1 support staff said I needed to purchase a packet monitoring tool (at £2195) so I could prove it was Ring Centrals fault and not my network.  She refused to put me thru to a higher level support to try and resolve the issue. In her own words she summarised that RingCentral is only suitable for larger organisations who employ network voice specialists and that Ring Central is not suitable for smaller organisations who do not have this is support. THIER SERVICE DID NOT WORK AND THEY HAD NO INTEREST IN HELPING! The same day I purchased a phone from Vonage, the plan was cheaper, it arrived the next day, I plugged it in and it works great, yes that easy!!! So much for RingCentrals superior lack of wisdom that it was my networks fault! Based on my experience I would avoid RINGCentral, it did not work, their support stinks, as they said its only for large company's, and the price was higher than Vonage. Yes I would not hesitate to recommend Vonage over RINGCentral. It passed the simple test of working, the support was better, and they were cheaper.
