After driving all the way from Cornwall to Rodgers in Brixham for a rear Inner light for a Kia, i was told they wanted a whopping £407.70 plus fitting. I asked how long it would take as i didn't wanted to avoid any rain getting in and they said it would take 1-2 days for it to arrive. I stupidly paid for the part thinking it would be done relatively quickly. A week had passed and I hadn't heard from them so i rang them to find out the part had arrived. The guy said it had (thanks for waiting 7 days before telling me). I then asked when i could book it in for fitting and they said it would be 3 weeks! At this point i'd had enough and did some investigating and found the genuine part brand new for £65 online. After seeing this I tried to cancel the order which took a lot of messing around and 3 days of my valuable time. After i finally managed to get them to ring me back they had to the cheek to charge me £50 for the honor. I appreciate they have to make money but to mark up parts by nearly 400% is absolutely disgusting and a complete rip off. Save yourselves a huge amount of money and go to a local garage who aren't trying to rip you off and more importantly actually care.

The worst experience I have had buying a car. They promised to fix an obvious rattling sound before delivering the car.  They drove it to me despite the rattle still existing.  I made the mistake of not checking before they left and then spent 8 weeks going back and forth as they then claimed they had fixed the problem and telling me that what I was hearing simply didn't exist. The most bizarre part of all this is that their technicians repeatedly refused to let me show them where the problem was coming from.  In the end I had to tell them that I was going back to further my complaint with Hyundai whilst emphasising that I had taken the car to another garage who without charge let me show them where the problem was coming from.  They couldn't believe that any company would be so obstructive. Incredibly - on one occasion their sales team agreed to book the car back in and instructed the repairs team to do this.  when the sales manager sent me over to the repairs team to re-book the car the staff member refused!  So it seems that the sales and repairs team did not have a great relationship either and one was prepared to undermine the other in front of a customer. In the meantime, I also got a text advising me that I needed to leave positive feedback and to give the sale rep 10 out ot 10! On the third occasion of returning to the garage having repeatedly refused to accept their advice that the problem I was noticing didn't exist, I refused to take it back unless their technician sat in the car with me.  After 8 weeks they finally let me show them the problem and they decided it was a loose bolt rolling around and they subsequently found a loose bolt in the console.   This is exactly what I told them it was at the start.   After 2 months of hassle and hire cars, no one came over when I got my car back to apologise for all the stress and no compensation was offered for the stress and inconvenience. Appalling.

A great deal from a first class sales team. Particularly excellent service from Alex who navigated us throughout the whole process. He didn’t pressurise us, was very helpful in every way and above all made the whole experience a great pleasure. Oh, and the Kia XCeed we bought is a tip top car as well.

I would happily recommend Rodgers. Customer service was above and beyond. Matt couldn't have done more. He is a credit to Rodgers. The whole team are lovely to deal with. I have just taken delivery of my 3rd Kia. Delighted is an understatement.

Very bad experience. Failed to inform me that the car’s front bonnet had been resprayed even though it was being delivered to Glasgow (490miles away). Upon querying it they said that the 1 year old £24k car had been resprayed for me to get rid of the chips and scratches. This was an obvious lie as the front bonnet was still full of chips and scratches so the respray must have been done a few months ago and for a different reason. I had to pay a lot of money to have the car transported back for a refund. Avoid a distant sale with this company for sure!

The service we received from MATT SMALE was first class Not pushy but straight forward in his dealings, friendly yet professional .The price of our "new" used car was favourable and when the car was handed over it was truly immaculate both inside and out. Thank you to all the team. IAN and JANE MARKUS

The remote fob battery for my Hyundai i10 needed replacing and after it was replaced it still did not unlock the door so I used my spare key to lock and unlock the door, now I have lost it. I was quoted £410 for a replacement if it was done first time I would not have lost it. There is NO WAY AM I PAYING that! If it was replaced the first time I would still have the spare key.

AVOID RODGERS. i bought several cars from rodgers over the years and on this occasion i paid 9.206 pound for a kia picanto took it home saterday rang them monday to say having tested it sunday it was in my view guttless and not sitable for my needs, i daid there is a hyundai on forecort wih bigger engine that would suit my needs better, the sales woman said ok leave 100 pound deposit which i did, on doing the new car paperwork she said you only get 8000 for the picanto not the 9.206 i paid a couple of days before hand, i said thats not right she said yes it is because nothing was wrong with the picanto. its now in the hand of car ombubsman, after all the years of staying loyal to rodgers i get ripped off,do yourself a favour go to a dealer appreciates long term customers

I booked a test drive on the online form with Hyundai at Crownhill and Kia at Brixham. I received an email from Hyundai which said ‘your test drive is just around the corner’ so I thought ‘great, all booked’. Didn’t hear from Kia at all and had to phone to book it. When we got to Hyundai they claimed not to have our booking but strangely had our details on their desk. We were told that another customer had just taken the car out and that it was our fault as we hadn’t put our phone number on the online form! This is their online form which I filled ALL the details in on and they had contacted me by email on! We had to wait an hour and a half for the car to come back. If we hadn’t really wanted to try the car we wouldn’t have stayed. We didn’t bother going to Kia as we were so delayed after this. Our current car is from Rodger’s and we were very disappointed with this service.
