“Called to get my chimney cleaned. They told me that they would inspect it first and then the charge would be $299. I had told them I had an older fireplace insert, and that I only burned a couple of times a year, and it had been a few years since I had it cleaned. The time they were supposed to show up they called and told me I would have to reschedule for the next week. When the person showed up, he told me it would be about $500 to clean. I said no so then he told me it was $69 for him to show up, which was never told to me, so I said just clean it for $299 . Then he argued with me telling me that creosote grows in the chimney whether you use it or not. Then after he spent 5 minutes running the wires up and down the chimney, he went inside to vacuum up the soot . I asked him if he was going to remove the stove to vacuum and he said it would all go right down the pipe and into the stove. When he opened the stove there was only a couple of pieces in it, the rest was on top of the damper and the metal piece lining the fireplace. So he told me the charge would be $325. When I looked at my statement it was charged $334. I called 3 times in 2 days before I got to speak to a supervisor he told me they would give me 10% off and would send someone else out to finish the job. It has now been 5 working days and nothing. I now have a chimney that looks like someone sprayed insulation in the bottom of it. This has been a horrible experience, no follow up from them. I just want my chimney clean and it’s only half done. I didn’t want to write a review, but this is my only option right now, since they won’t contact me and the people who answer the phone keep telling me that they will have a supervisor contact me, and I get nothing.”
“Initial contact was with Tonnya; she was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. She was very thorough in getting a description of our problem. Her technician was booked solid, but she was able to contact one of the appointments, to reschedule, allowing Dave (tech) to come to our aid that day. Dave was courteous, thorough, and very knowledgeable; his work was very clean. He also took extra time to offer advice and insight, spelling out safety and proper methods. “I had to get a level-2 inspection and sweep in order to sell my house. I looked around and decided to go with this company. They were able to come in a couple of days and the crew showed up at the tail-end of the time window they gave me.
Two guys came in and acted very professional as they went about their work. When finished, they showed me the pictures from their camera and said it was now clean and in good shape.
