Zero stars. “Drop us a note and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.” Rubbish! Upon realising that I had inadvertently left some Oster clippers in my virtual shopping basket and had paid for them when ordering a different brand, I notified this company immediately as per their policy and requested a refund for this product. I have made three telephone calls, sent three messages via their customer service system, and have sent at least four emails. I’ve yet to receive a reply. They are, apparently, uncontactable. Appalling customer service. Eventually received a reply stating that the order had been packed and cancelation would incur a 10% impost. They failed to check the emails, messages and phone messages I made in an attempt to “ contact them immediately”. They informed me that it usually takes 24-48 hours for them to reply. What a farce. Their oversight and inefficiency. They are not conducting their business according to their published policy. I’ve played by their rules, but they will be forced to abide by the rules of Australian Consumer Law. Complaint to NSW Department of Fair Trading pending.

I ordered a bed over 9 weeks ago now which I got told would arrive in 7-14 working days, this did not happen I got into contact and kept being told wont be long I was patient with it all but then now it is over 9 weeks since I placed my order and still no update I got told it was getting delivered today to then message on the live chat to say it’s still in a different country and they are not sure what is happening with it I asked for a refund to which they ignored my message on live chat, I have called a lot off times to no answer to any off these calls , I have sent multiple emails asking for a refund which I still have had no reply to yet, do not buy from this company ! I’m warning other people as this has really affected me with work and having clients in and I’m disgusted that this has happened ….. bad company !!!

We ordered 2 white stools and then were told they had been sent the wrong design so we accepted the swap. The stools finally arrived 1 month later but were completely the wrong colour and a different style to the one they told us we were getting. Called every phone number on their website and now no one is getting back to me about a refund or anything. Shocking, would definitely not buy from here!!!!!

Not Even a Star for this horrible dodgy website!!!!! I order some furniture, then I decided not to go with them because I can see here just only bad reviews and here is mine as well! I manage to get the refund 4 weeks after which was ridiculously nobody in their team passed the information to the refund team!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!

AVOID Avoid!!! One of the worst experiences, bought an electric nail file from this company... On their website was stated that the item is in stock and suppose to arrive from 5 to 7 working days... When I contacted the seller, asking for more information about the shipment, they refused to give me any information how much time will be until they will be ready to ship me my order... Instead, I found out that my order is out of stock (but on the website was stated as the item in stock) and they sending it from abroad, and they don't know how long it will take to arrive... I was so disappointed, asked for a full refund. Unfortunately they refused to give me full refund and decided to keep the shipping costs, for the item which wasn't even shipped for me yet... Had to contact PayPal and open a case to get a full refund...

Avoid Salon Direct!!! I received used items with traces of hair! No shame! I ordered 2 pairs of scissors and I found disgusting traces of hair when wiping the items upon receipt. I tried to contact Salon Direct by phone but they don’t pick up, constantly ’busy on another call’ and it goes to message bank. No return call received. I sent an email to Salon Direct requesting they advise of instructions on how to return products and provide a refund. The items were obviously used and would have potentially put my children at risk of infection. I received an email from ‘Brian’ at Salon Direct staying ‘We don’t sell second hand items, this is the first time we have received a complaint’ end of email. Fascinating! The review prior also states receiving used items?! I’m perplexed?! Where did the hair in the photos taken provided come from?! I’m disgusted and appalled! What are you doing about my complaint and request?!

Apparently This company sells second hand things or product on sales. Most of the time send you wrong products and they don't take the responsability of this, rude people. DO NOT TRUST THEM. they do not give you any type of warranty. Keep away from them. You will loose your money.

Don't buy from salons direct. Really. I ordered hair color products (hair color and developer). I live in CA, USA. First, the products I received are completely worn-out, old, unsealed and leaking color. I don't believe this company is a legitimate distributor of authentic professional products. Second, the vendor is located in the UK, according to their web site and based on the shipment fees they charged me. I was told that they shipped my order on Friday, Feb 28. The fedex tracking also had Feb 28 as the shipment date. The shipment arrived on Monday March 2 in the morning. How is it possible to ship items from the UK to California, US in 2 days with no customs clearance. The label had the UK shipment address but I don't believe that it was shipped from the UK. I paid via paypal. I raised the problems to Salons Direct and sent images of the package and each product. I also immediately escalated to paypal. Salons Direct responded to my email about the damaged, old, probably even faked products by saying that they will respond to me via paypal. Certainly this doesn't seem to be their first time. Please please stay away from this vendor. Hair color products and developers are chemical products and can cause harm to your skin and hair. They should NOT be allowed to risk people's health.

Update, still no refund after stealing £1800 from me. Police involved. Am thinking maybe they are going bankrupt do stealing as much money they can.

Sorry an update, they still have my money, not sending goods until I pay AGAIN VIA BANK TRANSFER?????. THENOT APPARENTLY THEY WILL REFUND THE 2000 POUNDS THEY TOOK FROM MY CARD AND HAVE SITTING IN THIER ACCOUNT. SORRY UNTIL I SEE ANYTHING ELSE THEY ARE CON MERCHANTS, THIEF'S, POLICE ARE INVOLVED. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR MONEY

Ordered 3 pedicure chairs today on line, paid in full and the money was taken out of my account. 1 hour later received an email saying they wanted me to pay by bank transfer and would refund the money that I had paid on my debit card. The money had left my account, they had it and it takes up to a week to give me a refund. my bank said possible fraud and report to the police. Have reported to police and will post again with updates and will continue to until I find out if this company are taking money on false pretenses in other words fraud. Be aware stay away they might be trying to con you, you have been warned.

I have been reading other references about the company above and I come to report that the service is really very bad I had a misplaced portion and a little case in helping me rescue back

Very rarely that I do a review , but they re a poor customer service company, they will not be responsible for sending out wrong items, and so rude on the phone. But there are plenty of other companies that have much more customer service .

To this day and age with customer service is the key to success, but this company's individual was abrupt and rude when answering the phone, plus sending me out a wrong product and requires me to send the products back but providing any 'freepostage ' nor an apology, that's great customer service?

Brutal experience with Salons Direct. Avoid at all cost. Ordered a new scissors for my girlfriend and it came with a part missing making the scissors unusable. We have been back in forth with Salons Direct and nothing has been done about it yet, not only that, but I've spent over £10 just from phoning the helpline just to hear someone repeat the same lines they are told to repeat. Find a more reputable business to deal with.
