“I'm claiming against my ex husband anuaty policy but not danlam or he's brokers know what they are doing . I cave the a maintenance and court order but still they want the maintenance order . Its being going on like this for 2 months. I've been to court how many times .”
“I applied for the Sanlam money saver credit card. I however can’t activate the card, from Tuesday to date, everytime I call I’m told the system is not working and the IT department is working on it… Something really is fishy”
“Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach anyone at Sanlam as the phone continues to ring with no answer. Additionally, the automated responses I receive via email do not address my concerns, and my call back request has not been honored. This level of service is disappointing.
Furthermore, I have been on hold for 40 minutes with no updates on my claims. This lack of communication is concerning.
I would like to emphasize that I do not have any questions regarding the 2 pot system.”

“Bad service, bad communication bad customer service. You are on the line for more than 1hour,emails you send they don't even care to reply. I was retrenched in April and 5 months after that still waiting for my money. All the agents I spoke to the past months are all lying they think that I am a fool. I will never ever advice family members, friend or collegues to invest at sanlam. You are disgusted, poor and unproffesional. My husband is at Old mutual and never had any problems. It was smooth sailing for him from his retirement until today. After 6 escalations made on my claim to finalize my claim nothing happen. Today my car was repossess by the bank and who is gonna take the blame for that now. SANLAM YOU ARE THE WORST COMPANY TO TAKE CARE OF PEOPLE MONEY.”

The trust department earn a lot of money from the beneficiaries to manage the funds. But it is managed poorly, with no communication. Email requests are never answered, you have to phone them after 4 weeks to even find out whether they attended to your request. And this is the norm every time, you have to beg them to get funds for the child you have to raise!!!!”

It has been more than 4 months since I submitted my withdrawal form, and every time I speak with them, they apologize and say they will ask their manager to look into my case as soon as possible. “Absolutely the most failed Company, fails their clients, my diseased ex husbands anuity policy is still not paid out after 5 months of filling documents for the claim now Sanlam wants to tax two amounts which is under 500k for the claims which is unlawful ! In the meantime my kids do not have any support because of Sanlam failing to pay the Claim, Sanlam should be embaressed Please do not use Sanlam for any policies ! You dont get your money they should be ashamed !!!!”

Computer put you on hold, no agents to attend to you, how is this possible.
Called various days, maybe 7, on hold for 10 mins at a time, end calls due to my airtime bring used.
Cleint for 35 years, Sanlam is worse than ever concerning their cleint concerns.
Worse to say, if they want to market or sell products, they are very sufficient in "harassing" their clients.
Poor, poor, poor!!!”
