Worst buying experience of my life ! I bought a Porsche GT3RS for £140,000 don’t forget the all-important £199 buying fee (which they said they couldn’t take off.) But very kindly gave me a three month limited warranty !?! Joke ! To cut an extremely long story short. I traded in a Audi RS5 which was extremely low mileage 23k (Half the average )but I told them initially it had done slightly less. Anyway before I got to the dealership I told them the exact mileage and wasn’t willing to pay any more as I knew I was already paying well over the odds. I also learnt the car was advertised as 2016 but registered November 2015 but anyway not an apology nor any discount but foolishly I went ahead purely because I wanted left-hand drive. This was after three or four argumentative emails about my car having slightly higher mileage so I said please return my deposit if you are no longer want to go ahead with the deal they obviously said no please come to collect your car. But Irrelevant to that conversation they sat me down and totally insulted my intelligence using cheap sales tactics with sales managers saying they needed another £2000 to deal after me categorically saying before I arrived I would not pay any more! The atmosphere was horrible even the salesman felt very uncomfortable in his own workplace. They told me they would not be able to sell the car for more than 45K but it was advertised at 50k the week after. After the pantomime I was given the keys and I left. I was also told it had full service history but to learn it never had a major service in its life only cheap oil services. They told me before collection the car would be sent to Porsche to be serviced to have whatever was due but obviously they opted in for the cheaper oil service. I paid £1280 days after I got it back at Porsche Wilmslow for a top up service to cover what hadn’t been done. When I asked for some contribution obviously you know the answer they just argued saying (we never said that) I just wish I’d of read these poor comments before I bought my car. Great looking dealership but run like a backstreet garage. Very very poor and unprofessional. NEVER AGAIN!!

terrible experience Dealt with Nathan who seemed really nice until near to collection People in the office didn’t know much about cars The car was 5 months late with its major service and they weren’t even going to service it before sale Then a major service was not done for the day of collection We put a deposit down and sorted the finance and ready to collect and then told it only had one key (a week after deposit paid) Was told there were some major stone chips that’s were sorted We decided to go up and get it (3 hour drive) We arrived to a car Missing a wheel cap Kirb damage Lots of paint damage Damage to the plastic near the door Told it is what it is Nathan didn’t feel any of this lol as relevant to tell me about before we drove over to collect Complete waste of time basically and it seems they are so cocky with swelling cars that their customers experience doesn’t matter Told he’ll sell it tomorrow anyway Very disappointed Would not recommend

BE WARNED *** NOT A JOKE GUYS ** YOU WILL LOSE OUT, BE OUT OF POCKET & THE ADDED STRESS, NOT WORTH IT. WOULD NEVER purchase a car from these guys. If your looking to part with money for a decent working hassle free car.. then try a main dealer. Paid 70k for a used 3 year old range rover, had it for 6 weeks, and from week 2, been nothing but a massive headache. Trying to get hold of Saxton service department is a headache in its self. Heading towards legal matters. BE WARNED AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Shiny cars with a lot of hidden issues undet the hoods it seems. Willing to to posting all reports & diagnostics from all 4 companies, and all 4 have stated the issue was there prior to ua buying the car. They state they do checks on car, what check are done if the car has serioues major faults.

My friend and I went to buy a car, the first day we went to view it they told us it wasn’t ready, we wasted 1hour 20 mins. A Few days later we went back again and this time we were told to wait 30 minutes as the car was not ready yet, we waited more than 1 hour yet the car was still not ready. When we finally got to see the car it was in an awful state, it was very dirty inside & on the outside. The salesman Congrad had informed us that the car has apple car play. Just before all the paperwork, We thought of trying the apple car play however the Apple car play was not working. He then said he doesn’t know why it wasn’t working and that he assumed his car has it so this car should have it aswell. We then said we won’t be going through with the purchase of the car but thank you for the help. He then became very aggressive, and had said ‘you wasted my bloody time, you won’t be getting your £100 deposit back’ we stayed silent and had asked to speak with his manager. He then said he is the manager(lied). We finally got to speak to the actual manager named “Mergim”. He told us we won’t be getting our deposit back. As we were walking away Congrad had came outside, to have a physical fight. He had pushed my friend a couple times and then moments later the whole team including the manager Mergim had came outside and we were physically attacked by all the staff members. The Police were called, filed a report. We’ll be speaking to a solicitor on Monday.

Bought a V class Mercedes , worst dealer I’ve ever bought from , missing bits never did send on . I’d never recommend or use again . To be fair they did offer full refund but didn’t take them up on it .

Worst buying experience ever when purchasing a car. I purchased a Range Rover Vogue SE at a very expensive price, unfortunately the service received was not reflective of the price. Firstly I received a very low trade in price that I was not happy at but proceeded anyway, at this point I should have withdrawn. The sales procedure was difficult as I was told they were short staffed and negotiating resulted in a WhatsApp conversation?? This is new to me. The prices and services offered were very much at a take it or leave it level, never dealt with such an inflexible company. As this was a distance sale I relied upon Saxton’s honesty in terms of car condition. I was promised the car was immaculate with a full years MOT. Unfortunately the car was far from immaculate and had been rush prepped at the last minute. I will list the issues found with the car after I got home and started inspecting the vehicle closer. Extremely poor paint work to hide cosmetic issues, they have sprayed all round the car with non metallic black paint, looking close is horrific and also has runs. Front drivers tyre had a large bulge in the side wall, this needed replaced immediately, they also allowed me to leave with an unsafe car to travel home on a motorway over 400 miles. The spare tire is flat with a rusty nail through it. The general cleanliness inside was an absolute joke, there was chocolate stains all over the back seats and centre console from the last owners, there was. Also food debris in pillars which had gone mouldy, the side door panels were stained, the sunroof cover is stained. The battery is needing replaced. I also need new suspension bushes. I am sure there was more issues. So you may be wondering why I accepted the car in this state, after a 400 mile drive to pick the car up I was very tired, the car also at a normal overview looked ok, until you start inspecting detail. The hand over was also an absolute joke, after driving all that way I was left in the showroom for over 40 mins. After this wait I was taken into the offices and made to sign all the paperwork again for some strange reason. I was also charged a retainer for not having a v5c, I was not happy about this, anyhow they charged an additional £500, the annoying this about this is they never had my V5C, how disgusting, could I charge them a retainer @?. I at this point was also assured all additional work had been carried out, e,g ceramic coat and under seal protection. The ceramic seal was potentially carried out, hard to say but the under seal was not. After under sealing several cars you know when it’s been done, I complained about this several times to no avail. After the paper work was signed I was given the keys and that was it !! After wandering about I finally found my car, no sales man to show me where it was or a walk round, nothing !! Never had a hand over like it. The bottom line is….. yes you can get a car from Saxton a few thousand cheaper but there is a reason it’s cheaper, they cut every corner in vehicle prep, charge you for services not carried out and also give you a poor trade in price for your car. I strongly suggest if you want piece of mind to go to a proper dealership where the appropriate checks are taken place and you will receive the proper customer care that’s needed when making a large purchase like this. I am also sure I will get some smart comment by saxton below making out I should phone them to resolve my issues, well I can assure you I tried this and they simply do no care, they have my money and that’s all that matters to them !! Absolutely disgusted from start to finish. Avoid at all costs.

The issue with Saxtons is after sales. The have a lot of cars pass through and I’m sure many people experience this. I have had the opposite and the aftersales from Saxtons is terrible. Please be warned!

Having been told we are expected to spend £40,000 on a SUV without the benefit of a test drive, as they are too busy. These guys obviously don't need the business so we'll be going elsewhere

The most shocking customer personal service ever. Avoid at all costs. Staff would rather eat crisps than discuss the purchase of a 30k car.

Reference Saxtons wanting to discuss the issues raised in my earlier F pace review below. I still have your earlier emails stating you believed it was a satisfactory paint job on what's only a used car. I also have the £250 take it or leave it offer. Seems like Saxton have said all they wanted to say but wanted it to look like they're bothered with their standard reply to my 100% accurate review below !!

I had the misfortune to buy a Jaguar F Pace from this outfit, hopefully this review will help others from making the same mistake. When you enter their impressive showroom the salesmen couldn't be more attentive, nothing is too much trouble for them. However once Saxton have your money they couldn't care less about your so called experience. Your phone calls are never returned and emails aren't much better. When someone from Saxton does bother to contact you they first try to fob you off, then tell blatant lies !!. Don't be fooled by their fancy advertising and impressive looking showroom, Saxton 4x4 are NOT a prestige car dealer. They are no better than any other dodgy second hand car dealer, the only difference is they sell much more expensive cars !! If you're thinking of buying a prestige car my advice is DON'T even think about visiting Saxton, go to a main dealer and save yourself a lot of hassle and disappointment because at least main dealers stand by the cars they sell you. I've spent £2,000 so far putting right the atrocious paintwork on the car they sold me.

Buy at your peril !!! Full of empty promises. Zero after sales service. Promise you the earth to get sale. Cars are cheap below main dealer price because there are faults with them. Not checked properly as they state. Would I recommend... NO If you do buy from them insist on long test drive and really scrutinize the body work. But do yourself a favour and avoid in first place. The reviews on here and other sites are very true I'm afraid.

Do not buy from Saxton 4x4! Where to start? Firstly, I wish I could give zero stars! Bought a Volvo XC90 from Saxton. The sales process was very frustrating. It took a week for the car to be prepared for collection and on arrival, not all of the paperwork was available (vehicle checks, log book etc). Saxton said they would forward it all on. Drove the car away and immediately noticed problems with a faulty wing mirror and electrics. Called them straight away to report the issues and 4 months on, we're still waiting for everything to be resolved with the car. Their promise to post me the log book (which had disappeared from when I first viewed the car) plus the correct car mats and a missing part for the in-car entertainment have never materialised. Once the sale is made, Saxton lose all interest. Customer care is non existent and Sales/Service/Management don't reply to emails or phone calls. In desperation I emailed the Directors and they didn't bother to reply either! The warranty supplied is worthless (read the small print and it covers hardly anything) and Saxton are not truthful. Lost paperwork, missing car checks, claims to have serviced the car which when I pushed for proof, turned out to be false. They hadn't serviced the car. The whole experience was unpleasant and stressful. When trying to get the faults repaired, and only after threatening to reject the car under consumer rights, Saxton asked me to take the car to a local garage to fix it (from the approved warranty list) and they would pay. £25 in lost cab fees and a day off work later, and the garage said they weren't skilled enough to deal with it and it would have to go to Volvo. More unanswered calls followed until finally, they agreed to pay Volvo to fix the car. They also promised that Volvo would supply me with the missing car parts at Saxton's cost. When I went to collect the car, Volvo informed me that Saxton had revoked the parts agreement and asked Volvo to tell me that they would be sending me the missing log book, car mats and entertainment part themselves. I'm still waiting and nobody at Saxton's returns my calls or emails. They are not a premium dealership. They are a quick turnover, dodgy outfit that happens to sell premium cars. There's a big difference. If you're lucky enough to buy a car from them that is fault free you may be OK, but if you need any after sales help be prepared to look up your legal customer rights and to settle in for a long battle. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If you search the reviews, you'll see a clear pattern with their failure to fix problems. I just wished I'd paid more attention to them and that I'd never bought from Saxton. I'm still waiting for my missing items. I've tried to contact them again today and have been told that the person who was dealing with the issues has left. Through my dealings with them over the last 4 months, the 3 staff members who I've managed to get a response from have left! I'll update my review if the issues are resolved.
