“Freight company rummaged around and searched the car before they dropped it off. Careful with leaving valuables. My guess is they were looking for something to steal. Overall it was an easy process using the ship a car direct. As promised and fair price. Would use them again...with caution.”
“Jennifer was easy to talk to and did get a driver once I increased my price. The car sat on the board until then, as the bid was too low initially to attract a driver. The biggest downside of using this kind of company is the uncertainty of when your car will be picked up and when it will be delivered. Being single, it was challenging being at the pickup address and then driving to the destination in time for delivery. I was told the driver would be getting in touch 30 min prior to pickup, which was not the case. The driver called when he arrived at pickup site, giving me little time to get there to meet him. He spoke no english and we communicated via google translate. He estimated a 9 hour trip, including 2 hours for breaks. What really happened is he raced to the destination in 7 hours and ended up waiting an hour for me to arrive to receive the car. Because he had waited until 8pm to pick up the car, it was 4am when he was finally able to unload. Communication with the driver was impossible, because he spoke absolutely no English, and I do not speak Thai. I am grateful for the driver's willingness to transport my car, and that the car arrived in great condition. However, for a 59 y/o widow, this was a challenging, unsafe experience. Flying had not been an option, because there were no set times they could give me. So, I had no choice but to drive from the pickup to the arrival destinations, transporting this little sports car by closed carrier with me following behind. I would not ever use this method again or recommend this for any person who is single. I am so relieved this part of my moving to a new home in another state as a recent widow to be with my adult children, is behind me.”
“The representative was quick to pick up my car; although they were confused about the dates that they were to pick my car up. My car also was on flat with a nail in the back passenger tire. The overall experience was ok.”
“One of our car wash scratched on the back bumper right side near the tire. The guy who came with the driver was very rude and asked me to get this car at the gate. May be he didn’t want us to notice the scratches.”
“My car was picked on 4/17 but is still in Vancouver, WA. I hope it's going to be delivered on Friday 5/24, then I will write a better review. For now, no comments.”
“I was quoted a price and when the driver showed up he charged me more. He Had me tied up as car was packed and I was ready to travel. Told me car was packed, but afte
R doing this for 15 years and all my friends ( 10 friends)doing the same, none of us was ever charged a surcharge for loading.”
“The driver charged me $150 because there was 40 to 50 pounds of clothing laid out in the back. It did not obstruct driver's vision in any way. On the good side, the car was delievered in good condition, Really feel I was ripped oof became the driver knew I was in a bind”
