“I take it here I should just comment on the Gentleman's Gazette videos and writtten commentary since I am to write on each item purchased separatetly? Learnt this from my first review. I found the advice very helpful. The fashion advisors really know their stuff and it is hard to find good information on black tie dress. I own two top end Armani classic tuxes (midnight blue and black). Both have silk-satin lapels. I was determined to accessorise with barathea silk but after reading and watching took the fashion advise and stuck with the matching silk-satin .(At first did not agree but thought about it some more and opted not to ruin the look). I may buy another bow tie and cummerbund in wide grained grosgrain to break up the satin look which I read is ok. I am far more casual than the advisors so would not wear every accessory (buttonears for example) but now am confident that a cummerbund is the way to go and of course matching your lapels makes sense. I would love to see a couple of fun articles on how one could break the rules a little.”

“Overall very good. My experience was 4.5/5. I love the quality and look of my bow ties (silk satin), socks and pocket square. Unprecedented selection of silk fabrics for the black tie accessories. I had trouble twice completing the purchase because of website problems and then a small mix up trying to combine two orders into one shipment. But Anne, the customer service rep, was caring and just outstanding. She got it all sorted out and my items arrived very quickly (to Vancouver Canada so a even got through customs quickly). A heads up, the chat line seams to be monitored between roughly 9:00 am till noon PST. You will get a reply the next morning if you message later. I would have purchased more but unfortunately there are many items out of stock. I really need the matching cummerbund for April and am nervous that they will not be in stock in time? They would not give me an approximate ETA. I did try to ask a styling question, it would have taken two minutes for someone to write me but never did hear back. I watched several of the videos and read quite a few of the descriptions, it was very helpful. So excellent quality and price; outstanding customer service and delivery time; website can be a hassle when purchasing; and lastly I hope the inventory was just down because of the Christmas rush and that they re-stock soon - this was my first experience so unsure how the inventory usually is?
