“Ehh its's okay. The sauce is great, don't get me wrong. But It's basically honey mustard. The regular is honey mustard. The truffle has a little different taste of I guess truffle flavor. The spicy is a littel spicier. But overall it's the same sauce. All 3 taste the exact same except for the variances. And even my favorite, the spicy, is lacking in punch.”

Firstly, thank you for ordering. Close assessment - no honey in the sauces ☺️, however, you are correct, the bases of each sauce is the same…spicy was meant to have a kick but not too much where you can’t taste the flavor- I think the difference between my sauces and others - it’s very versatile. You can cook with them as a cooking sauce, marinade, salad dressing, dip, etc. have you tried some of the recipes on the site?

“Heard about this sauce on The Takeout website. Bought the spicy version. It has a good mustard-y flavor. Have enjoyed it on chicken and as a veggie dip. However, it was not spicy to me at all; just had a very slight touch of heat. Still, the sauce is good and delivery was quick.”

Hi Michael, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a 4 star review - it is much appreciated! In response to the sauce not being spicy enough - you must be one tough cookie because it burns my mouth! HaHa - I didn't want to make it too spicy where it would be a hot sauce. Stay tuned, I may be introducing more flavors in the future and a spicier version can be in the works! - Simon

“I have not tried the sauces yet. I ordered multiple bottles as gifts. It would be nice if the bottles were marked on the wrappers especially for Christmas shoppers. It would also be nice if the different types had the description from the website on their label rather than the same description on all three bottles.”

Hi Steven, Thank you for the opportunity to sauce you up! Great point about marking the bubble wrap - I can start doing that - thank you! The descriptions of the sauce are the same on the labels, however the ingredient list is different. Hope you enjoy the sauces! -Simon

“I have only had the regular sauce so far, but I purchased all three. I had it with fish. It was good, but I wouldn’t say it is uniquely good. I’m looking forward to having the other two sauces.”
