“# WAITED IN ALL AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS PER SIMPLE HANDRAILS HAULIERS ( TRENNELS ) WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND NOTHING WAS DELIVERED AND NO NOTICE OF FAILURE TO DELIVER WAS ADVISED ON THE DAY. # WHAT A WASTE OF OPPORTUNITY TIME TO ACHIEVE OTHER TASKS. # NOT DEPENDABLE ? CERTAINLY NOT IN THIS CASE.”

Hi Des, This review is one that baffles us. The whole country is experiencing massive issues with deliveries. However Tuffnells deliver 8am until 5pm, there are no timed options. It looks like they tried to deliver your parcel on the morning. They tried to deliver on your 4th working day from ordering. As a company we advertise up to 9 working days as per your invoice. “Very nice looking high end handrail. Drops a star as it is not made clear in the product details that the handrail comes unfinished, just has a small note which can be easily missed. Also end of handrail are not attached, so you need to attach yourself and it can be hard to get it perfectly straight.”

“phoned the company as I wanted the upgraded fixings for the rail I chose the sales lady was most helpful and sorted my order there and then saying it could take five days for delivery but later had txt from courier to say delivery would be next day so had my order in less than 24 hours and the quality of the rail is first class so would definitely recommend this company many thanks for first class product and service”

“Very happy with the handrail we received. The wood & brackets were both lovely quality. There were a few parts that weren't totally smooth but we wanted the wood to look natural so we didn't sand them, if you were going to coat/varnish you would need to I imagine. It wasn't too difficult to put up for us DIY amateurs and still looks great even though I'm sure we didn't get it totally straight! The delivery came quickly, though just be aware that we received no notification that delivery would be coming on any particular day so make sure you're going to be in all day until you receive it! Overall very pleased, the hand rail looks great.”

“Great service on delivery, a little disappointed with oak rail as the diameter at the end of the rail is uneven and the brass fixings stick out which are causing it to look bent at the end!”

“This is the first time I’ve dealt with this company and I highly recommend them. I ordered on a Wednesday and my delivery of a 3.8 brushed stainless handrail was delivered on the Friday, 2 days. Everything was included with the handrail. Brackets, plenty of screws and plenty of rawl plugs. I would definitely order from this store again.”
