Chad and his staff were extremely patient; allowing me to spend a lot of time visiting their store to test different mattresses. I really appreciated that and the complete lack of pressure or upselling. They left me to make my own decision, but were quick to answer any questions I had.
At Sleep King, you'll find the best mattresses on the market today, all in their showroom. Many of the best mattresses today are seemingly only available online, but Sleep King has made sure to include them on their showroom floor. For me, this eliminated the scary part of ordering online without testing the mattress first. They have all of the top brands, from traditional to memory foam to hybrids, at all price points. “Went in and tried several mattresses. Selected one and paid 1300. Was told 1-2 weeks on delivery. After 3 weeks we got a bed. Not the one we order3d though. Some generic knock off. We had them order another and they said they upgraded us. Waited another 3 weeks and got another generic knock off. The bed is so uncomfortable I am in nothing but pain. Haven't slept since it arrived. Will never buy another thing here! They have nice beds in show room but they pull a switch and give you garbage generic versions instead. Beware of sleep king”
“We have ordered beds many times over the last few years but on this occasion we had problems. The drawer was in the wrong place so they took the base back. They assured we would have a replacement within a week. It took three weeks. We run a B&B so one of our guests had to sleep on a mattress only. When the base arrived the drawer did not fit properly. We rang the company several times and emailed them three times. Took a photo of the damaged drawer This was over three weeks ago and we have still not received a reply from the company. Seems when things go right no problems but when you do have a problem they do not want to know. Very, very poor customer service and will not use them again.”
“Having read the other reviews I was very wary of this company BUT I needn't have been this company is excellent!
I dealt with them before and they were very helpful and understanding. I bought two single memory foam mattress toppers 2"deep. Originally they thought they were out of stock but checked the storeroom and found two!!. They rang me straight away and offered them at a discounted price.
They arrived the next day!! They are perfect - well packaged and fit my beds perfectly. They are very comfortable. I would recommend this company with no hesitation. Andrea was very helpful and Kam was also very helpful, and professional. He was very fair and understanding with the price.
I think the other reviews are misleading because I had no trouble or problems at all. I am very happy with this company.”
“I wanted to return the bed I had bought happy to do an exchange, the bed was still in the original packaging & had not been used. They refused me an exchange or refund, ignored all my emails rude & abusive on the phone, no customer service. “Avoid this company at all cost!!! They sold me a bed base that was meant to be "hospitality" quality that has collapsed within 6 months. The bed had very little use so this made no sense. They offered no refund, or replacement product despite pictures being sent. The manner with which they dealt with the issue was rude and condescending and I was told to buy my bed from John Lewis. If the bed based collapsing was unusual situation then you would think that the company would replace it. Clearly it happens more often and from now reading other reviews I wish I looked at this site earlier.”
“A bed was delivered on 29th October 2018
It was broken in 3 places.
The delivery men put it back on the van and took it away.
I e-mailed Sleepkings later the same day requesting a refund and providing my details.
No confirmation received.
I sent a further e-mail on 30th October and no confirmation was recevied.
I phoned on 31 October and spoke to Andrew who denied any knowledge of my issue.
Andrea passed me to Danielle who was aware of my complaint and said they were understaffed. The matter would be going to the refunds team (why do you need a whole refunds team) and it would be proceesed within about 14 days.
Danielle was clearly sitting close to Andrea as I heard her say "he wants to speak to you now" as I was passed over.
The company appears to be somewhat experienced at fobbing people off to get rid of them.
I have said if I do not receive e-mail confirmation that a refund is being processed within 2 hours I will call back at 4.30 and will then instruct a solicitor to begin recovery proceedings.”
