“I am still waiting for 2 books for my children's music lessons. They were supposed to arrive last week and I paid extra money for this service. I have emailed them 3 times and no response from their supposed 'support team.' I have tried looking into getting a refund but do not know how. A terrible service. All I want are the books! !!!”

“I placed an order then received an email saying order was cancelled and to retry, I have just researched the company, seems like this happens to a lot of people, there are a lot of concerns around the site being a scam”

“Hi, my order has been cancelled twice, and I am waiting to hear if the book I want is actually in stock. Please can you reply to my email, so I know for sure if you have it otherwise I'll have to try to get from somewhere else. Can I webchat or telephone ?”

“I placed an order then received an email saying order was cancelled and to retry, which I did! Surprise surprise I received another email telling me 2nd order cancelled too. Emailed and got no reply. I then researched the company, something I should have done before! Company seems like a scam to get credit card details. I cancelled mines and would suggest others do the same!”

“Received an email saying my order had been cancelled, but despite me sending three emails asking why, no one has had the courtesy to reply. There is no telephone number that I can see, so you can't even get to talk to anyone. Pretty poor customer service.”

“Email back a few days later saying order cancelled as per payment problems others have listed below. Looks like I'm one of many this has happened to and will reorder elsewhere.”

“Received an email cancelling my order with no explanation why! The book seems to be in stock. Looks like the same thing has happened to lots of people. Will not be ordering from this company again and will now cancel my credit card. Annoying!”

“Hopeless. Twice ordered and three times paid with different cards to be told problem with payment. Online email does not work and sent manual one, no reply yet and no phone number to call. Does this company still exist or trade??”

“This must be a bad day for Smyths books as I'm adding my name to the list of of cancelled orders!! You'd think they would at least complete part of the order not cancel the lot! No response to emails!”

“Took 5 days to let me know by email my order had been cancelled listing three possible reasons. I cancelled (nope). Card declined (nope using fine). Unable to fulfil order (still listed as in stock). I gave my mobile number so I would expect a phone call at the very least to tell me of a problem to maybe resolve not a standard 'catch all' email and cancelled order. The email invites me to retry if I want. Really? I try to avoid using Amazon and support other companies but sometimes they dont do themselves any favours. Cannot trust using them again. Sorry.”

“I purchased my childs book back in AUGUST...Smyths took my money but that's it. I have sent 3 emails asking for my book, but received NO RESPONCE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Smyths.!!! I WOULD NOT USE THIS WEBITE AGAIN!!!!!! Disgusting / none existent customer service.”
