“The main reason for buying PDF Pro 10 initially was to enable me to combine a number of separate PDFs into a singe master PDF. I have followed the help instructions and it just does not do what the instructions suggest. I first open my first file, then go to the Insert and Edit tab, select the Document Attachments Tab, then the + tab to identify the files I was to attach, then I selection the files I want to attach using the Open tab in the dialogue box and finally hit the Save tab. I provide a new file name for the combined files, and then all I get when it saves is a single file, the last one on my list.
An added weakness of this feature is that it is not easy to interactively alter the order of the files to be combined into a single master, you have to plan this out when you add the files.
Otherwise the other features seem very comprehensive, so if you can explain what I am doing wrong I am likely to be a happy customer. In the meantime the help instructions are just not adequate to attach the files successfully.”
“Had to uninstall it due to a lack of options for output formats. Only converted text in PDFs to text boxes. In large documents this is onerous to then have to edit each and every text box over dozens of pages/documents. If possible would prefer a refund.”

“I must admit that I'm somewhat disappointed with your software. I purchased it on the assumption that it would allow me to edit pdf documents (i.e. actually change the text of another document). Unless I'm not using the software correctly, it does not allow this.
If the software is supposed to allow such editing, please advise me how. If it does not allow this, then the advertising is quite misleading.”

Later, I found that it was probably because I needed to completely remove the program before I reinstalled it and that the old licence probably still worked. I wish they had a separate rating for version 9 as I would have given it very good.
I have been using Nitro for 3 years and have found v9 brilliant. My business has grown and I have needed to buy a new license and thought initially I would upgrade my v9 to v10.
A few months ago I purchased v10. However I found some of the functionality that I relied on in v9 not there in v10. I use the software to build pdf documents from a variety of different (converted to pdf) files. There is some file manipulation like optimisation but mostly it is fairly simple work but I find Nitro v9 allows me to really move through this part of my perocess really efficiently.
So I had to go back purchase a full priced new copy of v9 (couldn't find any discounted offers and got slammed) for my business and I have not touched my v10 again. Double loss for me and now I am now concerned about the amount of time I might have before v9 goes unsupported. However right now my business is growing and this is what I am focusing on.
I don't normally do these type of reviews but I remember very early on one of the owners/senior managers ringing me and gave me good support. For me v10 broke the really good piece of software that v9 was.

Recently, I bought another copy of PDF Pro 10. Order ID: PDF-PRO141113-1341-47199
Neither of then have worked successfully.
The recent download worked OK. I received the Key to convert to the full version - It never work and I am still using the download version, having now purchased the software twice.
I contacted Tech support - initially no response. After second attempt they sent an email that referenced to the correct download site and sent me the Key again. The download was successful, but the conversion did not work.
So I am still using the download version and I am not a happy user.
I have a strong IT background and have not installed & uninstalled PDF Pro 1- several times without success.
Whilst I do like the software, it infuriants me that every time I use it, I am prompted to re-enter the Registration Key. I must use the software 10 times a day, so I get upset with you guys about 10 times a day.
I have recommended this software several times to my friends and theirs works OK, which further infuriates me.
