“The lamp is what I wanted though a bit short. The overhanging part is a bit bouncy so doesn't seem all that stable. Base damaged which I put down to bad packaging - it looked as though it had been returned by someone previously. Have now got round to taking the plastic off the shade and found a long brown mark. I have sent an email to company but to date no reply.”

I received an email to let me know which day my item was being delivered and this was followed up on the day of delivery with another email giving me a one hour time band for the delivery. My item was duly delivered within this time band. This excellent service is extremely appreciated and I am a very happy customer.”

“I've been really impressed with Solihull Lighting on the couple of times I have used them. The products have arrived really quickly and were well packaged so the contents were protected and in perfect condition. I think some of the product descriptions and pictures could be a little more detailed - e.g. they don't tell you the length of the flex or what sort of bulb you will need so I had to wait for the lamps to arrive before I knew they required the mini screw-in type. I didn't have any of these at home so I had to go out and buy some before I could use the lamps. Perhaps they should give you an option to buy the bulbs you will need when you purchase your lights. The pendant light I bought makes a real statement and I love the bold red colour. It takes three bulbs that provide plenty of light in my room. As well as softening the light, which is great in a bedroom, the difuser also hides the bulbs from view, enhancing the overall appearance of the product. Our builder put the pendant light up so I can't comment on how easy or otherwise it is to fit. He did mention that it had the longest chord he had ever seen which had to be cut down but you'll be fine with this light if you have really high ceilings! I will definitely go back the next time I need lighting.”
