“I’ve been disappointed with the quality of the writing (or lack thereof) as well as some of the topics.
I’m not interested in 3rd wave coffee and while I appreciate there are many people who are, it’s done at the absence of traditional “Italian style” espresso which is what my main interest is.
For these reasons I won’t be renewing my subscription.”
“I am disappointed by the coffee of the last two editions, nothing exceptional, nothing surprising, I also subscribed for that, to discover beautiful coffees. I have received a lot of feedback from friends who tell me that the quality of your selections is no longer what it used to be.”
Hi Yvan! Thanks for your feedback! I'm really sorry our recent coffee samples didn't wow you. What can I say? We'd love to know what your standard of exceptional is! I'd be thrilled to pass it on to the team because we're always on the hunt for amazing beans. Feel free to share your thoughts at office@standartmag.com or in the Online Community!

“I love having a physical book that is made to be picked up and read. Every issue is artfully designed and never fails to have articles exploring an interesting part of the coffee world.”
“Great article as always. I love Standart. But the new layout is terrible. It looks bad and is difficult and confusing to read. I hope you are changing it soon again.”
Thank you very much for taking a moment to leave a review. I understand that the new layout is not your cup of coffee. We, of course, would like to make Standart comfortable to read for all of our subscribers, so I would love to take your comments to the team. If you have any further comments or find particular elements of the layout inconvenient, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly at office@standartmag.com.

“The stories are diverse and offer a wide range of interesting topics. The content is beautifully designed and laid out. A coffee table item for sure. Plus, the added bonus of the coffee sample is wonderful. I just ordered from Little Waves. Wonderful way to see and taste what different places are offering.”
“While beautiful, the layout of the magazine is very difficult to read. It makes it hard to enjoy because of the design.
It’s pretty, but not functional”
Hey Danielle, thank you so much for your feedback! I'm really sorry to hear that you found the layout of Standart difficult to read. I’d love to discuss this with my colleagues to make improvements. “love it all! would love a few more personable/down to earth articles here and there, perhaps some commentary on some shops and people within. home roasters? people brewing at home. just some stuff that's more easily digestable here and there. you're all killing it and i'm very happy I foudn the mag!”
“Beautifully written and photographed. Your magazine makes the world of coffee accessible to both professionals and amateurs. I always look forward to receiving my copy..”
“The 35th issue of Standart Magazine is a captivating read, brimming with insightful articles and stunning visuals that coffee enthusiasts will adore. Of particular relevance is the compelling interview with the swimmer, which resonates deeply with me. The swimmer's journey, marked by dedication and resilience, offers powerful lessons on perseverance and passion that transcend the world of sports, inspiring me to dive deeper into my own pursuits. This issue seamlessly blends the art of coffee with stories of human spirit, making it a must-read for anyone seeking both knowledge and motivation.”
“The magazine is beautifully put together. Couple of editorial mistakes, but nothing too bad. (The 1800’s are known as the 19th century 😉)
The Intellegensia sample was a bit under developed. Super papery and flat. Not great, unfortunately.
Keep it up 🤙🏼”
“Siempre es un gusto leerla! Soy colombiano y soy fan de todo el buen gusto que tiene la revista. Además pude estar en la celebración en Copenhague 🫶🏼 pude tener mi juego de cartas que a propósito esta hermoso.”
“I really liked the photos of this issue. And also the stickers, found out that those are from an artist, would be nice it you have a dedicated section for the artist that creates something on the issue, may be stickers, illustration, etc. Another idea for future issues is talking about the containers for coffee, mean the mugs. Thanks!”
“The opportunity to have something like Standart is wonderful. I learn a lot, see amazing experiences, stay up to date on new trends, and enjoy having something that nurtures me and makes me learn and look forward to a future edition.”
“I felt uncomfortable with the cover photo, along with several other images. They resembled content from a Playboy magazine rather than a professional coffee publication.”
Dear Khalifa, thank you so much for leaving us a review! I’m really sorry to hear that the cover photo made you feel uncomfortable. That was certainly not our intention. I’ll be sure to discuss your feedback with my colleagues from the creative team.
Aesthetic choices can be quite personal, and we understand that not everyone will have the same preferences. The good news is that the cover photo changes with each issue, so if one didn’t suit your taste, the next one will likely be different.
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts with us!
