I'm from Vancouver Wa where I first went to Stanton Optical in Hazel Dell. I had a pair of glasses I needed a new perscription and my doctor's office wanted 600 to put in the new lenses. That was with my insurance!! I went to Stanton and purchased a new lense for under 200. I was so impressed I became obsessed with getting new glasses and prior to moving here I became a "Eyerwear enthusiast" and purchased several pair..plus sending several family and friends. The service was very good and then I moved to Nampa and refused to go to the Nampa Stanton optical and continued to buy more glasses when I went to Vancouver every March and October. NEVER had an issue aside from my husband thinking I had become a full-blown frame fanatic....the manager from Vancouver Stanton moved to Nampa store, where I have continued to purchase a few new pair of glasses. I have several pair of high end glasses...Prada, Coach, Ray Band, Gucci and other pairs from Europe...The glasses I have from Stanton are good quality, fun and very stylish. Any issues I have had are quickly resolved and I appreciate their service and all glasses are guaranteed and they stand behind that guarantee. Yes, sometimes they are very busy and you do need to wait. I had to wait at my regular doctor's office as well. It is worth it! You save so much. The Nampa location is very busy and the service is just as good as Vancouver location. There are rude folks everywhere. Perhaps a bad day. We never know what someone is experiencing. I hate to see bad reviews for Stanton because someone had to wait or was offended by a "rude" employee. You save a great deal of money, good quality and good service. I just picked up four pair of glasses today that I gave them the incorrect perscription. They re-did them all.....perfectly. I look so cute in all my frames.!! Have to stop buying now so my husband and I can afford a steak now and again!

I went in for contact lens exam and contact lens went thur all the process to find out the doctor who wasnt even there say i would have to go to another eye exam with another doctor i was like are you freaking kidding me no trial pair no prescription but had to pay $81 Dollers for want i will never go back or send anyone there

First of all when i went in for my appointment i asked how much was my eye exam with insurance and the girl who was helping me said oh its 59.99 and i said why ? Oh thats the price for the exam and i then stated so the price went up or what n she responded with yes and i said well whats the exam include and then she stated this was a test to examine eye illnesses and i said no my co payment is always 10.00 for the test and thats when she said oh this is an option ! They tried to scam me into getting a costly eye exam and not inform me of what my insurance covers or what is avalable to me if i choose to do another test. Then i brought in my own frames and i was told if i use those i wont be able to use my insurance at all and all be out of pocked. she did not explain that the frames arent covered under the allowance for frames. I will not be going back again mainly because of the lack of care and trying to scam me for a pricey exam ! No thanks !

First of all the FACT that they make you aware that the 2 pairs of glasses for $79 WITH EYE EXAM ! is false advertisement !! I ended up paying $185 !! And FEEL RIPPED off because although I paid $185 I was limited to certain frames as if I was givin the promo !!!!! Im never going back and will advise my family and friends NOT TO GO AS WELL

The other day I destroyed my glasses, my only working pair of glasses and was in a bit of a pickle because I need them to see my eyesight is really really bad.I live two and a half hours away, we don't have any optometrists in our area so there were two options for me which to get last minute glasses One of them was Stanton optical. It was 130 in the afternoon and a Saturday. I went online and found that Stanton had an available appointment at 4:30. I was eager to try the $79 for two pairs same day promo. They did not disappoint. In fact they went above and beyond in my book. The sales manager Veronica M. at the Medford branch was amazing down to the assistance with choosing out my glasses. My "scheduled appointment" was at 10:30 am. I arrived, signed in, looked at glasses for a bit. By 11am I had not even been asked for my insurance yet, much less had the pre-screening exams or anything, so I asked if I would be seen before 11:30, as that would be an hour after my "appointment" the lady's answer was "no, it would be longer than that". I thanked her and left to Visionworks down the street, where I got checked in, pre-screened, and got my full eye exam within 40 minutes. The "offers" on the glasses ends up costing over $150 WITH the insurance!!! Not $79 as advertised.

I should have done more research before I went there. I fell for the 2 glasses for 119$ with a free exam. I walked out spending 850$ problem with the system is that you have committed to 179$ exam if you don’t buy. So once you get the free exam you are committed to purchased the glasses of you are stuck with the exam cost. Pretty slick system but it’s not a deal. Check other companies before buying glasses at this place.

I should have left when the eye doctor wasn't in person. Then the glasses I picked came to over 800.00. When they came they are the cheapest made frames I ever had! Then the lens is even worse!!!! They have a white foggy film on the lens. When I called the Waterloo Iowa office to tell them, the lady said come in and we will clean them for you. Really, I know how to clean my glasses!!!! I would never come here again. I wasted 800.00!! I had to go someplace else to get a pair of glasses. Don't go here!!

I would give this place a zero but they would only let me leave a review with one star. This place is misleading, they gave me glasses after three times of bring them back and waiting months to get them only to find out they are wrong again. I paid this company for progressive lenses, what I got is a pair of glass that I can't use not one pair but two. I wasn't going to leave a review, I thought after a few months as I was told by your associate that I would get use to them, I trusted your company just to be let down spent alot of money on the glass for what for you to ruin my eyes and not beable now to have the money to get new glasses. What makes it worse is you eye associate telling me it's going to be more money when I brought them back for the third time, I would need to pay more for peripheral lenses this is totally unexceptionable. I am a senior on a fixed income now I am wearing my old glasses I am not happy and wouldn't recommend you to anyone BUYER BEWARE

I absolutely had THE GREATEST EXPERIENCE!! Thanks to Mishay & Allyssa!!! Also Lynda & Christy were so very great with their patients as well!! This place is a great place to get an exam and enjoy their Bogo promotion deal you can't resist!!!! Sunny did my exam and she is perfect at her profession!!! Raises needed for all these women here at the Norman location!!!

Arrived as a walk-in at Stanton I was probably greeted by Ken Shera and Ricky Ricky assist me to the bag to get my eyes exam and then got busy and can shower came and filled in was a very pleasant experience

Mi esposa se hizo una medida y unos lentes y no veía bien entonces los devolvió pero nunca le devolvieron lo de la medida eso está mal porque si le midieron mal tenían que devolverle el total gastado y la atención al igual que otro comentario no había manager para solucionar el problema eso fue en Kendall miami mejor ir a otro lado que no se queden con nada se hicieron mal el trabajo

I was treated very well by Ida at the Clovis Ca location. I needed to see the Dr at the Fresno Ca location. Ismael helped me with all of my questions and concerns. The frame I chose was very uncomfortable and pulled my hair out each time I took them off. and on. The Clovis location allowed me to pick another frame at no cost. That’s great customer service!

Customer service was horrible. Female representative was rude and wouldn't let me explain my needs for glasses. She took my credit card numbers and did the bate and switch by ordering glasses I didn't request. Told me there were no managers to talk to, and I could take it because she already ordered them. September 2nd 2025.
