Too enable finance to start was a quick and simple procedure However Had the car for 15 months and had catastrophic engine failure resulting in 2k garage bill When spoke to startline.. i was told.. we cant help you.. this is the risk of buyimg a second hand car... you are sealed into a contract and if you do not pay... we will repo the car... plus we still need your monthly payment... Thanks real helpful startline I will never use or recommend this company again

I was unhappy when I applied for the finance and the reason for this was I felt I was stereotyped because of my job occupation. My job is military and I was told because of this I would have to pay an extra £30 on top of my £294 quote a month because the military has a bad reputation for debt troubles, however I had 120 months of no missed car payments previously on my record also every pay documentation I produced was not good enough, I think I produced 7 different payslips and other various documents which kept being rejected which became an inconvenience and made me not want the car or deal PS think it is unacceptable to judge one person because of a large occupations history and because of this I now have to pay an extra £1800 on my premium

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY They financed me a car with a stolen engine inside and when I raise the issues and complaint, they fob me off and try blame this on me like I have the capability to be swapping engines out 😂 They have refused to provide my data in the terms of a subject access request. Refused me call recordings because they know I have raised my issues with them on calls and they don’t want to accept this as fact. They then send people who are meant to be call collectors to collect the car to my customers houses to try and intimidate me. All the guys roll up in tracksuits and trying to intimidate me to hand the car back over. I of course didn’t do this because I want my money back for the stolen car they sold me and they are trying to fob me off I dealt with a little feeble man in complaints called Colin who does not have a backbone and can only just string a sentence together he is that nervous when he talks in the phone but this guy is a complete waste of space and sucks someone in his management team to feel like the car is his own it something. The company is a complete shambles and don’t adher to their regulation! They will sting you if they can as they do not accept any responsibility for them selling me a stolen car! They even knew the car was stolen and when I finally gave them the car back after my solicitor told me to, they then tried to sell the car on to someone else via auction knowing the car still has a stolen engine in? They only did something finally because I contacted the buyer and made him aware that the engine was stolen in the car and he kicked off! If I didn’t contact him they would have allowed another member of the public to get stung my a stolen car just so startline can make money It’s actually laughable that they think that’s acceptable

Definition of Cowboys and loan shark is this company, poor customer service they don't care even you are on death bed still required they money, imagine during COVID the jobs dry out, they didn't care about personal circumstances, And they repossessed the car and sell it on loss , Just avoid this company by any means necessary Thanks Sulayman Sulayman

Was told on 3 times you can cancel your contract after 2 years but now being told a different settle figure which is more then what stated in a letter back in July this year! When asked to do subject request to ask for everything he just said hello hello like there can't hear you! Worst company ever avoid

DO NOT TRUST STARTLINE MOTORS ALL THEY WANT IS TO LOCK YOU INTO FINANCE DEALS AND USE UNTRUSTED CAR DEALERS TO SELL YOU UNTRUSTWORTHY CARS!! Awful company. Laura McGrandles has been dealing with my complaint and after originally requested a complaint to be logged in July they failed to log it until September. I requested a DSAR request of the call recordings as they’ve failed to provide me with the correct information on multiple occasions but now say they’ll only provide representative notes and not notes of the call recordings. I first requested the DSAR on the 15th of July specifically asking for a copy of the call recordings due to the lies they are told me, we are now on the 1st of October and I still haven’t received it. I had a call with John H today who proceeded do be rude and tell me that no complaint was open on my account even though I requested the complaint to be reopened on Saturday. I also raised a separate complaint on Saturday regarding the failure to provide the DSAR request which seems hasn’t even been logged AGAIN!!. John terminated the call by telling me to go to the ombudsman and tell them to request the DSAR! For those reading I’m sure will agree this is far from progressional. DO NOT TRUST STARTLINE MOTORS ALL THEY WANT IS TO LOCK YOU INTO FINANCE DEALS AND USE UNTRUSTED CAR DEALERS TO SELL YOU UNTRUSTWORTHY CARS!

AVOID @%$ AVOID %$%$AVOID I went to this organisation with my head high without good research aiming to surprise my wife for the car of her dream, it was all perfect at the beginning, but when I was about to signed contract/warranty they told me its less than 3 months, also they are based in Hull if i remembered it correctly 134 miles away from Northampton, on any faulty i have to take it back to them, one big red flag, the car worth £15000 i manage to pay to £11000 and COVID hit I lost my job, they didn't want to know typical shark company, Poor customer services, no Sympathy, I did request to reduce the amount i pay per month, they didn't care, They ended up take me to court I represent myself they come with experience lawyer in the field to defend Shark Loan company, they won the case I lost £11000, and also the car was worth £6000 when they took of me, and they ended up selling it for £3000 that means i still need to pay more money to them. so if you value your money, time, and good mentality avoid this shark loan company with poor customer services
