I would give 0 stars if I could. My experience with Startline Motor Finance has been extremely stressful and disappointing. I financed a vehicle through them and the car has now failed its first MOT since I purchased it due to serious faults, including severe corrosion. The vehicle has been off the road since April, leaving me without use of the car while still dealing with finance payments, inspection costs, MOT costs, towing costs, and the stress of trying to resolve the matter. In my view, the vehicle was faulty and not fit for purpose. The repair costs are expected to run into several thousands of pounds, yet Startline have refused to offer meaningful help or take responsibility. What makes this worse is that Startline suggested using independent inspectors, but the inspection outcome relied heavily on what I believe was a seriously mistaken mileage position. It was treated as though the vehicle had done around 30,000 miles in one year, which was then used to justify the serious corrosion and faults. I believe this has unfairly affected the outcome, because the car failed its first MOT after I bought it and the level of corrosion suggests there were serious underlying issues. Despite raising a complaint and providing evidence, including the MOT failure and reports, I feel Startline have been dismissive and have failed to properly consider the fact that this was the first MOT since purchase and that the car has suffered major faults so soon. I have been left with a car I cannot use, significant financial loss, and no proper support from the finance company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Startline Motor Finance.

I was in a confusing and stressful situation with no idea how to fix things on my own. While searching online for a reliable solution, I came across REAINTELL.COM, mentioned by many satisfied clients. I decided to contact them, and their professionalism was evident from the start. They replied promptly, communicated with clarity, and showed genuine concern for my circumstances. The team took their time to understand every detail before providing guidance, which made me feel supported and confident that my issue was finally in capable hands

A horrendous company to deal with. If something goes wrong with the car, they will not help you, in fact they will make your life hell. Please avoid.

Avoid at ALL costs This company are just shocking when it comes to customer service. Used them to finance a vehicle I found from a dealer and that was the ONLY part that was not problematic. They lie to you and try to bully you. I have just settled my finance agreement with them and can now say that they are just disgusting people to deal with. Their staff think they can get way with lying to you about things such as the covid help with hardship payments that were clearly set out for them to follow. They think they can demand money before due dates. They think they can get away with contacting you repeatedly on the same matter even while being referred to the FCA. I lodged and WON two separate cases for complaint with the FCA about these bullys and would advise all others to avoid them!

Very disappointed. My wife bought a car from Startline September last year. We fell into temporary financial hardship back in March due to my boss being unable to pay me. Everything was explained to Startline and we have all correspondence saved. Startline were not interested in working with us despite our regular and honest communication. We resolved our financial situation and made every attempt possible to clear the arrears but they were not interested. Startline then reported the car as "stolen" and my wife (who has mental health issues which they also know about) had to suffer the trauma of being boxed in by the police! Be warned, if you find yourself in financial hardship they have no interest in helping. A legal case is currently being built against them

This company is dreadful to deal with, I came out of work due to ill health and they hounded me for months until I agreed to a payment plan that was higher than my original payments, they would not extend the loan period but instead they insisted that my monthly amounts increase to ensure that the finance was still paid off on the original due date after I got into arrears. Horrible company. Nasty, insensitive collections agents who only care about the oney and what they can get out of you. Never Ever use this company.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY They financed me a car with a stolen engine inside and when I raise the issues and complaint, they fob me off and try blame this on me like I have the capability to be swapping engines out 😂 They have refused to provide my data in the terms of a subject access request. Refused me call recordings because they know I have raised my issues with them on calls and they don’t want to accept this as fact. They then send people who are meant to be call collectors to collect the car to my customers houses to try and intimidate me. All the guys roll up in tracksuits and trying to intimidate me to hand the car back over. I of course didn’t do this because I want my money back for the stolen car they sold me and they are trying to fob me off I dealt with a little feeble man in complaints called Colin who does not have a backbone and can only just string a sentence together he is that nervous when he talks in the phone but this guy is a complete waste of space and sucks someone in his management team to feel like the car is his own it something. The company is a complete shambles and don’t adher to their regulation! They will sting you if they can as they do not accept any responsibility for them selling me a stolen car! They even knew the car was stolen and when I finally gave them the car back after my solicitor told me to, they then tried to sell the car on to someone else via auction knowing the car still has a stolen engine in? They only did something finally because I contacted the buyer and made him aware that the engine was stolen in the car and he kicked off! If I didn’t contact him they would have allowed another member of the public to get stung my a stolen car just so startline can make money It’s actually laughable that they think that’s acceptable

DO NOT TRUST STARTLINE MOTORS ALL THEY WANT IS TO LOCK YOU INTO FINANCE DEALS AND USE UNTRUSTED CAR DEALERS TO SELL YOU UNTRUSTWORTHY CARS!! Awful company. Laura McGrandles has been dealing with my complaint and after originally requested a complaint to be logged in July they failed to log it until September. I requested a DSAR request of the call recordings as they’ve failed to provide me with the correct information on multiple occasions but now say they’ll only provide representative notes and not notes of the call recordings. I first requested the DSAR on the 15th of July specifically asking for a copy of the call recordings due to the lies they are told me, we are now on the 1st of October and I still haven’t received it. I had a call with John H today who proceeded do be rude and tell me that no complaint was open on my account even though I requested the complaint to be reopened on Saturday. I also raised a separate complaint on Saturday regarding the failure to provide the DSAR request which seems hasn’t even been logged AGAIN!!. John terminated the call by telling me to go to the ombudsman and tell them to request the DSAR! For those reading I’m sure will agree this is far from progressional. DO NOT TRUST STARTLINE MOTORS ALL THEY WANT IS TO LOCK YOU INTO FINANCE DEALS AND USE UNTRUSTED CAR DEALERS TO SELL YOU UNTRUSTWORTHY CARS!

AVOID @%$ AVOID %$%$AVOID I went to this organisation with my head high without good research aiming to surprise my wife for the car of her dream, it was all perfect at the beginning, but when I was about to signed contract/warranty they told me its less than 3 months, also they are based in Hull if i remembered it correctly 134 miles away from Northampton, on any faulty i have to take it back to them, one big red flag, the car worth £15000 i manage to pay to £11000 and COVID hit I lost my job, they didn't want to know typical shark company, Poor customer services, no Sympathy, I did request to reduce the amount i pay per month, they didn't care, They ended up take me to court I represent myself they come with experience lawyer in the field to defend Shark Loan company, they won the case I lost £11000, and also the car was worth £6000 when they took of me, and they ended up selling it for £3000 that means i still need to pay more money to them. so if you value your money, time, and good mentality avoid this shark loan company with poor customer services
