“What went wrong? Where do I begin? The woman that did my demo, in Vancouver BC Canada, Erica, did a bait and switch on me. She did the demo with a bristle brush, showing us the infrared light inside saying how great it was on the hair "because of the infrared inside the brush". However, when I got home and opened the box, lo and behold, a completely different hair tool was in my box. A pro glider 2.0. I contacted Erica, and she did nothing but argue with me and told me to "contact her boss, Natalie ". I contacted Natalie, and told me to send the Pro Glider 2.0 back to her, (approximately $22.00) and she would send me what I thought I was purchasing from the very beginning. Being in medicine for 50+ years as well as a drug and alcohol therapist, communication is PRIMAL. I made sure to tell Natalie (in detail) what was demonstrated on my hair, which was an infrared bristle hair brush. Well, the box arrived, and once again, lo and behold Natalie sent a "Flat Iron". which I have several of. I texted Natalie, and the battle was on. This bait and switch has cost much of my time and so much frustration. I will never purchase another product from Straight Ahead whether in Canada or the USA. They would rather duke it out, argue, and lose customers than to do the honourable thing. They have NO integrity.”
“They are very pushy then demonstrates a $300 straightener on your hair you will love then sends you home with a straightener that is worth about $10 that you paid between $90 and $170 for.The receipt says no refunds but they never tell you that. So when you dispute it with your credit card company they will give your money back but this company will fight it and because the receipt says no refund they will give the money back to the company. So the only thing you can do is call local news law enforcement or start a consumer class action lawsuit”
