I actually had to watch the unboxing YouTube vid, because the mattress seemed a bit smaller that normal, but as soon as I cut the plastic, the mattress quickly expanded to the size I purchased.My lower back pain is GONE. The only caution I suggest is, be careful when sitting on the edge of this mattress, it is very likely you will slip off. But this is a purchase well worth the money.
