Hi, Bought a 8x6 greenhouse from this company missing parts, only got them after I told them I was going to do a charge back , instructions are terrible it’s like reading Chinese, no help line they don’t answer, avoid at all cost

Shed delivery severely delayed (5 months after ordering), including one delivery date when the just didn't show up, then the shed they eventually did deliver was not the correct model (they sent one with the door on the wrong end of the building) and it was poor quality with a lot of wood splintering and some of the nails not securing the pieced properly. I was left significantly out of pocket for paying workmen to be around to prepare the base and build the shed (twice due to no show first time round) and their customer service staff took weeks to respond to my email then refused to do anything about it or give a partial refund. Do not use! Will be complaining to Trading Standards.

After buying my greenhouse, the affiliated installers no longer work for summer garden buildings. When I asked for a refund, no chance! The additional storage I also bought is cheaper in B&Q. Stay well clear if I were you.

This would be 0 stars if there was the option. The gazebo I purchased is substandard and not fit for purpose. Photos were sent in June, heard nothing for 8 weeks. Emails ignored when the phone lines were off, sent more photos of the damage 5weeks ago, called every week to be told Paul will call me back as he is never at his desk and I am still waiting. AVOID THIS COMPANY there is absolutely no customer service.

Took 20 weeks to be delivered, they don't reply to emails, their suppliers delivered the wrong Gazebo (same footprint) and it included the wrong roof parts/no ridge felts. My installers have made the Gazebo look great but it took an extra day at my expense.

After Sales Service and communication is appalling to none existent. If you want/expect after sales service don't get your hopes up, you may not get it. Bought a cabin early Feb 2020, took 5 months to arrived (July) - 'due to virus situation'. When delivered it had obviously been stored out in the sun for a long while, wrapping was discoloured, split in places and had deteriorated, with some water damage visible though not detrimental. Damage was found with the extras ordered. SGB informed of damage and ask for photos - duly sent same day - no communication of what was being done to remedy the damage, trying call them was a joke - went to message and then cut off or just rang and rang and rang. Once erected found the quality of the hardware is poor in particularly the door handles and locks - non standard sizes, pressed steel locks with poor alignment and cheap cast alloy handles poorly fitted and break easily, also double glazed units are plain glass not toughened. In the end had to get local company to fix the damage - more expense. Letter sent requesting refund of repair costs - took 4 weeks before getting a short email asking when they could ring to discuss, gave them date. No call on the appointed day or since. Followed up by intent to take to Small Claims Court - no response - now more form filling and expense. NOTE: SGB terms and conditions include a link to an EU Dispute Resolution Service - it is advisory only, ie useless, has no authority or legal binding.

For new victims, please DO NOT deal with this business before you read the existing reviews. For the existing victims who have problems with this business do not waste your time, just take legal action or contact (Reporting to Trading Standards...citizensadvice). My problem is illustrated in these pictures ( two months and not solved yet) Order ID: 108718_1595032377. This sham company has ignored my emails over and over again and I have been left with a piece of rubbish that cannot be assembled. I am £700 out of pocket. £700 for a shed that cant be built and has panels that resemble a cardboard box! Absolute joke of a company who are quick to take your money but totally ignore customers when there is a problem. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. You should be ashamed of yourselves!!

Apalling customer service, only posting 1 star because I am unable to post a 0 rating. We had a damaged gazebo delivered over a fortnight ago and have not had a response to emails (no delivery or read receipts) or enquiries sent direct through their website. The first three parts we removed from the packaging were either bent, scratched or had puncture holes in them. Found a phone number online (01603 721590) but this is just an answerphone message saying they are not taking calls. Fortunately I paid for the item on my credit card so have the benefit of claiming via their disputes and chargeback facility. I WOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY AND BUY ELSEWHERE. No doubt that this review will prompt what is becoming their standard response to complaints - If you can't provide customer service, then stop accepting orders and sending out products that are sub-standard, and don't use Covid as an excuse for your poor service. Update: The company appear to be able to respond very promptly to emails asking about purchasing products (sent from another family email address) via their website, but not those requesting returns!!! Do not buy from this shambles of a company, I ordered a growhouse back in June and this sorry saga is still dragging on. The product arrived and straight away I could see that it was of low quality and damaged, I tried to put it together and it was impossible due to the split and damaged wood, all the shelves were unevenly cut. I tried to phone them, no answer as they are too busy processing orders and ripping people off, but blaming covid. See the generic replies on google! I tried to contact them through their website, it wouldn't work. Eventually I found an email address, where I got a reply with no end of 'terms & condition's'. I had to photograph the substandard faulty item all neatly and perfectly packed in the same way I received it. Eventually it was picked up. Today I received an email a month after this was returned to say they are offering a partial refund deducting my hard earned money as they claim I'm the one who did the damage, yet I have all the photo's to show the damaged goods on arrival. They have also said if I don't like this outcome I'm to seek advice. The customer service from this awful robbing company is horrendous and I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. I will be taking this further reporting them to trading standards etc, please don't waste your money with these crooks.

Terrible service. Triple bin store ordered. Parts were damaged and wood split. The agreed to replace the damaged parts. That was 8 weeks ago and nothing heard of since. They switch their phone lines off and don't reply to emails. Charge back has been logged now with credit card company as this product is not fit for purpose. All the negative reviews you read are true. Avoid!!!

Wouldn’t even give one star!!! Disgusting customer service!!! Waited 11 weeks for a gazebo even though they said 5-7 weeks. Finally arrived 2 days ago and it’s the wrong one! No one phoned to tell us about the delay so subsequently no apology either. And no one to speak to now regarding the wrong one being sent! I am so annoyed and upset, myself and my husband worked hard and fast to get the garden ready for it as well. I’m soooo angry!!!

Took delivery of a damaged shed which I put in van and took straight to their unit within hours . Ignored for over 4 weeks For refund , took 3 visits to their unit and a visit to their house , arrogant bad attitude people , it’s a good job they have refunded me for both our sakes , even though it’s short they have withheld some of the money , see photos and reply apparently this is in re sellable condition, poor poor person that receives this

absolutely shocked by the customer service!! they dont answer calls and continue to use Covid as an excuse. Its becoming quite distressing and we as customers expect a basic service. A simple email informing us you will be collecting your damaged item will do but yet im stressing thinking when you will collect the damaged shed you have sent which is just sitting here taking space, collecting dust. i want my money back!

Zero customer service! I should have paid attention to all the negative reviews. The copied and pasted response to them from the owners does not respond to the awful service received. Firstly the website is awful and the ordering system is terrible and not user friendly. Once you have ordered you have to email them to confirm you actually want to your order before they will arrange delivery. I had no issue with the delivery of my items. I ordered two growhouses. One of them was awful quality. The wood had been filled so much that one door is just filler. When I was aware of this I emailed them to inform them. I have not received any response to my emails. I did have a missed call from their number but they left no voicemail and they aren’t accepting calls back. Note to the owners you cannot just keep using coronavirus as an excuse for your terrible quality of products and poor service. Please head my advice as others and avoid this company at all costs.

I’ve given them the time that trading standards have said and still nothing . So it now looks like court action and quite frankly I hope it closes the business down as I’m not the only one that’s had bad service from them . They can’t keep blaming covid as they are doing they are NOT to be trusted . Swing broke after 6 week .

Shocking service. Furniture too big for gazebo, promise to refund advised 2 weeks ago, not received. Now asking for photos/measurements after all this time (17th June) Abysmal customer service that they blame on Covid-19 but look back at previous review dates - many prior to the current pandemic! If they can't cope with valid queries/complaints because of sheer volume stop taking orders or employ more staff.

No smoke without fire, if you get your product intact and on time you are a lucky person. The company is very quick to blame the manufacturer or delivery company, ordered a greenhouse after paying in full was emailed with a new delivery date between 5 - 7 weeks. After 7 weeks received a email with a new delivery date of upto another 10 weeks, they blamed the manufacturer, I contacted the manufacturer the told me they had informed summer garden buildings 10 days prior to my order being placed not to advertise their product, on hearing this contacted my bank and had my money returned within 30 minutes. Buyer Beware no smoke without fire.
