“I ordered the lemon ginger honey and love it. It came quickly, in a simple but well packaged parcel. I spread it generously on toast, a spoon in my tea, and a wee spoon into my mouth. Besides being a delicious honey, it's from a small Saskatchewan town that I have driven past many times. That makes it feel local!”

“I am SO grateful for these honey gels. At the risk of over-sharing, these gels may be perfect for my fellow IBS runner girlies: no more mid-run panic-sprints home! Delicious flavours (lemonade is my favourite) and the matcha is great for that little extra boost. The jars of honey are fantastic too - the cinnamon - omg! Shipping is always fast (couple days max) and communication is great. 11/10 would recommend.”

“I've been wanting to try Sun River gels for a while, and finally placed an order. I love them! We used them for a 30km trail run, and I was very impressed. I liked the texture, the flavours were great, and they didn't make my mouth feel gross afterwards, like gels sometimes do. I've had stomach issues with gels before, and I'm happy to report these were very easy on the tummy. I do wish the packaging was a bit smaller - the gels are quite a bit wider and longer than other brands and I had trouble fitting them in my smaller vest pockets. I do love the attached tab though. The delivery was super quick (although the gels were sent in a comically large box). Will definitely be purchasing the variety pack again!”

“Delicious honey! I love the energy gels, impress selection of flavours. Unfortunately, I have to deduct one star for the energy gel packet design. I like the eco-friendly connected opening tab, but the packets are far too large for the amount of honey inside. This makes it really fiddly to squeeze it out through the narrow opening. For comparison, Gu gels have a much smaller packet even though they contain more product (32g vs 29g). Gu also has a slightly wider opening. Sun River Honey tastes much better than Gu, but ease of consumption is obviously important during a race”

“Like honey? Then this is a slam dunk of good! I recently purchased the variety pack of energy gels and a bottle of natural honey. I am no connoisseur of honeys, but I am enjoying it all as much I could hope. I think the big take-away for me is the local production, variety of choice, and easy customer service :) The energy gels have been a welcome addition to my marathon training. They are thick, but easy to consume. I am appreciating the variety of flavours beyond the typical citrus variants that mots energy gel companies stick with. Big kudos to Sun River Honey for their partnership with 2025 Queen City Marathon in Regina! Woooooohoo Saskatchewan!”
