“I've only had a chance to try the plain honey so far. I've gifted some of the small flavored honeys. I can say that the plain honey is very neutral. It could go in any recipe without adding a strong honey flavour to it. No problems with it at all, good honey, but it didn't inspire me as the best honey I've ever tasted or anything.”

“I tried the turmeric ginger honey. It didn’t help me as much as I hoped with my cough but it is a good product that I enjoy in my tea! Service and delivery were excellent and timely. Thank you!”

“Had the turmeric and honey in my coffee. Doesn't melt as well as plain honey but to preserve the goodness in the honey I dont add it right to boiled water. Tasted as expected. Good job! Beneficial. (Not for people on blood thinners however ) will order again”

“I have no issues with Sun River Honey Inc. I do, however, have an issue with the Turmeric and Ginger Honey that I purhased. It tastes good (takes some time getting use to it). The issue is that it did not give me, at least, the desired effect I was looking for. I have chronic "Night Couphing" issues and so far and I'm only half way through the jar, I have not seen a change. Again that is my experience.”

“Overall, love the gels and have already made a second purchase. THE GOOD: -Love supporting a Canadian company. -Flavors are great. I expected to hate the cinnamon bun thinking it would be way too sweet, but that turned out to be my favorite. It tastes like those Valentine's Day hard candy hearts - SO good. -No GI issues - Delivery is super fast POTENTIAL FOR IMPROVEMENT: - Packaging is on the larger size. My running shorts pockets barely fit a credit card, so these gels are a tight squeeze. While they are soft and you can cram them in, I like the package to lie flat so there are no corners digging in to me. I also am not a fan of the attached top bit. With the consistancy of the gels I end of scraping them out with my teeth while on the go, so end up ripping the top off in my mouth anyways. I would rather get this done when i open the package. - Some flavors do not camoflage the honey flavor as well as others. Honey is a nice flavor, but for those that consume a lot of gels, I can see how you would get flavor fatigue. Key lime and matcha are probably the weakest flavors. - They ship with a lot of packaging. The first purchase I made (24 gel sampler and jar of honey) shipped in 4 boxes. One box opened to reveal a second. Box 2 opened to reveal two other boxes plus paper padding. I get giving the honey a box as it's glass, but if the gels are hardy enough to withstand being smushed in a pocket or backpack for hours, then they can probably withstand the mail in a bubble envelope. - Due to the consistancy, these are probably a summer only gel. In cool morning temperatures (still summer though) I find I have to keep them next to my body to keep them warm, so I imagine that for skiing or winter running they would be tough to get town after being in an external pocket.”

“I've placed two orders with you thus far, the first being for a 1kg. jar of Sun River Honey Turmeric + Ginger Infused which is great and subsequently ordered a promoition of 500g. + 29 g energy gel. In the second order I placed the 500g Infused Honey jar lid was not tightened and leaked a little during shipping. I'm assuming that the Honey is still good, however, it looks a little discoloured when compared to the first jar I ordered (1kg). Should I be concerned?”

“Taste super good. Feel a great amount of energy coming from it. Very sweet though and with my sensitive teeth, I need to be careful when eating it or it'll hurt. I gave a 4 star review because since it's thick like honey, it's kinda hard to squeeze everything out of the pouch. I don't race so I don't really care but I think this could be a problem for others. Congrats on the great tasting sport product!”

“I purchased this for my COPD. I eat a quarter teaspoon 3 times a day and it's working great for breaking up the mucus in my chest. Its been 3 weeks now and I feel a big difference.”

“Delicious honey! I love the energy gels, impress selection of flavours. Unfortunately, I have to deduct one star for the energy gel packet design. I like the eco-friendly connected opening tab, but the packets are far too large for the amount of honey inside. This makes it really fiddly to squeeze it out through the narrow opening. For comparison, Gu gels have a much smaller packet even though they contain more product (32g vs 29g). Gu also has a slightly wider opening. Sun River Honey tastes much better than Gu, but ease of consumption is obviously important during a race”
