“I’ve been a runner for 15 years, and I’ve tried many different kinds of energy gels. These are so easy on the stomach! My only issue is the consistency. They are thick and I find I need to knead the packet before consuming. That’s fine during a training run, not so good during a race. Because of the thick consistency, they take longer to consume, which again is fine during a training run, but during a race when I’m breathing quicker and just want to get the fuel down…not ideal. The taste is awesome, I love the variety of flavour options! The packets are also decently easy to open. I’ll be a customer for life if they can fix the consistency issue. Overall, a great product.”

“The honey itself is very good. Love the flavors. The honey is very expensive for the sizes of the jars, with the exception of the larger jar of honey. My biggest concern is with the excessive packaging. There were five separate boxes for this shipment. Plus packing peanuts.”

“Perfect for running or cycling training and very tasty! :) However, it's not easy to eat during a race or high intensity. The honey is to much pasty. Tahnk you for this healthy sport food!”

“In all fairness I haven't tried the different flavours yet except for the turmeric and ginger, it's very good. Haven't tried in my coffee yet but intend to. Had some by the spoon a couple of times, helped with dry cough”

“Got the gels for running! The packaging is so great. Be warned that they are VERY sweet so I wish there was a half size gel option because I find they are so sweet it is hard to finish in one go. But all the flavours are so delicious”

“I absolutely love the mixed pack I recieved. I don't think there's a single flavour I hate (Im not fond of the cinnamon bun but I will eat it). The only reason I didn't give sun river was 5 stars was because of their packaging. It is extremely hard to open the gels, especially with sweaty hands. You also can't 'pre' open them before your run or bike ride because you'll have honey all over you, I usually spend at 2-3 mins ripping it open and then getting honey all over my hands before I eat it.”

“I purchased the honey with ginger and lemon. Although I found it extremely expensive for the size jar, I used it with hot water when I was sick. It soothed my throat and tasted pretty good. A little sweet for me, but I typically don't use sugar or sweetener in my drinks. I may purchase agian, but I would probably look for a similar item locally first (Ottawa area) that wouldn't cost as much.”

“Received our sampler of honey. We haven’t had the opportunity to try all the flavours but the 3 we have tried were excellent. Once we’ve tried them all I’m positive the rating will be a 5. Very very tasty honey.”

“Pretty good flavour. I made the Ginger + Turmeric Infused Honey muffins. They were very dense and heavy. I made them only once. Will try one more time to see if they turn out differently. Will try to mix them less, but I am very careful about that. The flavour itself was okay, but not as good as I had hoped.”

“It seems like a great product with semi-portable packaging. Too sweet for us, and no way to re-seal once open. Definitely designed more for marathon/bicyclists than athletes across the board due to it not being able to be re-sealed.”

“One of the best honey I've tasted and definetely helped with my sore throat and cough. Had to deduct one point because your shipping box is way too big for what I ordered and seems wasteful. Please try and improve your shipping logistics for the sake of the planet too. The honey are already packed securely inside its own box and to put it into a shipping box three times its size seems really wasteful. Thank you”

“The honey tastes great and the service was excellent, but I bought it with the idea that it would help with my chronic cough. With all the other comments on how great it is, I thought this is just what I need. Well it did not live up to all the hype and did nothing for my cough. I guess I am the only one to admit it doesn't work. A bit expensive but sometimes you just have to try something new.”
