“the honey is ok. not the best I've ever had. delivery was quick, packaging was ridiculously over done, which helps account for the most expensive honey I've ever had! I did a real comparison with my local cinnamon honey and yours. Like the Manitoba honey better. I will use this up, but am unlikely to order again. Not worth returning as I won't get all of my money back anyway. I wish I had checked the price more thoroughly before ordering, I would rather get a sample size of each of the 8, or been able to choose which flavours to duplicate. But a sample of each of the 8 should have been far less than $70, my full sized jar was not "free". I know that shipping is built in but, really could save there by stopping at 3 boxes! The 5th was definitely overkill! But I do like your support of pollinators.”

“I spoke to someone already and told her I wasn't happy with my order. The reason I ordered your honey, was to try honey I had never lasted before. So I was very DISAPPOINTED to have received 5 jars of plain honey. Some of the flavors I didn't even get. She told me they don't check to make sure that you get all the flavors which, to me is not pleasing at all. I didn't want plain honey, I wanted something I had not had before. I also was not very happy when the box the honey was in was in a much bigger box. Canada post charges for different sizes of boxes. There was almost a $10 difference in price between the box with the honey and the much bigger box the money was in. The price that is charged for those small containers of honey is very expensive, so even though you say delivery is free, I don't believe it is not incorporated into the price we are charged. I will not be ordering more and even though the honey I have tried is good, I won't be encouraging anyone to buy any, especially since there is no control on what you receive.”

“I could only give a 3 star rating. The rating is based on the honey packets. The honey itself is great, so is the packaging, easy to open packets and design of the packets. However, it seems the opening of the packet combined with the thickness of honey makes it very hard to get the honey out of the packet. I'm a cyclist and use these during my ride and have used several different gelpacks/packet products. One key important feature is to get the product out of the packet while riding quickly. The combination of the thickness of honey and small opening makes it hard to get out, to the point where I had to stop the ride to be able to use it.”

Thanks for providing this feedback Andy! I think we might have this figured out for the next iteration of packaging. We are making the pouch material thinner which will make it easier to squeeze with one hand. In our testing one hand operation is SIGNIFICANTLY easier with the upcoming material. It'll take a month or two to start rolling out but hopefully this will alleviate your concerns! :) Thanks for the feedback! Feedback like this is how we're improving for you guys!

“I like the taste but unfortunately they are quite difficult to open. Pretty much need something sharp to cut the top. Trying to open them while running is extremely challenging and I had purchased to try them for an upcoming marathon. They won't work as I won't be able to get them open without carrying scissors or a knife with me.. Would be great for hiking or other uses where you can stop and use an object to cut the top.. just not for activities that you need to be able to open them easily while still concentrating on the main activity.”

“The honey had good flavour but the sugar content in these jars is through the roof. If you’re looking for something to add to your toast or tea I would reconsider buying this product.”

Hi Michael, I'm so glad you enjoyed your honey! I just want to make sure there's no confusion for anyone though. The sugars that you're mentioning from the Nutrition Facts table are the naturally occurring sugars that are always in all honey. You can check the ingredients list and you won't see Sugar there. Simply honey and whatever the infusion is. As a blanket statement, honey is naturally high in sugar, but as we've seen with many diabetics who monitor their blood sugar, the way it affects your blood sugar is drastically different than eating "white sugar." All honey has these same naturally occurring sugars, and more or less the same quantities of them as well. Thanks for sharing your review! :)

“The honey is lovely … interesting flavour! And the little box the bottle came in is classy. BUT the mailing packaging was overkill. A huge cardboard box … you could have fit 12 bottles in there. And just a couple of pieces of plastic bubble wrap and 8 of the dissolving kernels! It was disappointing after your website highlighted your earth friendly shipping. Hope it was a one off … but you may want to check with your packers! We are enjoying the honey! Elizabeth”

“I received my shipment quickly and thought it was packed very attractively and safely. I have tasted all the samples . I like them all - especially the honey chipotle! I do not like the lemon ginger mix. The lemon flavor is VERY strong and I cannot taste the ginger at all. Unfortunately because it was my first time ordering, I ordered my large bottle in that flavor! 😢😢”
