“Great product. I'm back into long and longer bike rides, getting ready for ski season (yes, already!). I liked the taste and I liked how it helps me manage my energy levels. I showed the product to my son, who was happy/sad because he had the same idea but hadn't acted on it yet. He noticed the packaging right away and said he really likes the fact you can open the package without ending up with a small piece of plastic in your hand and nowhere to put it until you get to a garbage can. Will be ordering more.”

“Super quick service. Very surprising how quick the product showed up. The product itself is very nicely packaged. I’m a triathlete and have used some of the gels for training. They give me a good boost of energy, but I just can’t consume a lot of these back to back. I’m going to try staggering them between other nutrition, but my body just won’t let me keep consuming these. Other gels are fine, but something about these doesn’t work.”

“These guys are awesome. I ordered my second batch and was living out of province and at a camp ground. After the first delivery failed to find me I contacted them and adjusted the address with more instruction and with in a few days the order was delivered to my lot at the camp ground. Great costumer service.”

“Overall, love the gels and have already made a second purchase. THE GOOD: -Love supporting a Canadian company. -Flavors are great. I expected to hate the cinnamon bun thinking it would be way too sweet, but that turned out to be my favorite. It tastes like those Valentine's Day hard candy hearts - SO good. -No GI issues - Delivery is super fast POTENTIAL FOR IMPROVEMENT: - Packaging is on the larger size. My running shorts pockets barely fit a credit card, so these gels are a tight squeeze. While they are soft and you can cram them in, I like the package to lie flat so there are no corners digging in to me. I also am not a fan of the attached top bit. With the consistancy of the gels I end of scraping them out with my teeth while on the go, so end up ripping the top off in my mouth anyways. I would rather get this done when i open the package. - Some flavors do not camoflage the honey flavor as well as others. Honey is a nice flavor, but for those that consume a lot of gels, I can see how you would get flavor fatigue. Key lime and matcha are probably the weakest flavors. - They ship with a lot of packaging. The first purchase I made (24 gel sampler and jar of honey) shipped in 4 boxes. One box opened to reveal a second. Box 2 opened to reveal two other boxes plus paper padding. I get giving the honey a box as it's glass, but if the gels are hardy enough to withstand being smushed in a pocket or backpack for hours, then they can probably withstand the mail in a bubble envelope. - Due to the consistancy, these are probably a summer only gel. In cool morning temperatures (still summer though) I find I have to keep them next to my body to keep them warm, so I imagine that for skiing or winter running they would be tough to get town after being in an external pocket.”

“I've only tried a couple of the gel packs so far on long bike rides and they are great! Taste good and most importantly easy on my stomach as I'm unable to tolerate most gels.”

“I picked up running gas another means of exercising. As I gradually increased my distance people told me I need to refuel at specific points. I tried a bunch but they never really sat well in my stomach. Once I tried Sun River that all changed. It is a great product.”

“I’m still looking for recipes for the jars of lemon honey and lime honey because I feel like there are so many possibilities especially with fish and chicken ( thinking tacos?!?!) I absolutely love the flavour of the three I have tried! I bought cinnamon first. This will be the only kind of honey in our house now. My partner also uses the gels and loves them!!”

“I have unwell for a few weeks since receiving the honey. Therefore I don't feel qualified to give an honest opinion other than to say what I have eaten is bloody tasty. I haven't been able to give an opinion on the energy claims yet. I will give a review when able.”
