I ordered 20 power daisy plugs but 6 were dying when they arrived,tried planting them but they just shrivelled overnight.Not impressed with this company at all.

Ordered 30 begonia plug plants fire orange in May came end of June as stated, very disappointing as they were lemon?. A lot with no roots just shoots. Obviously sold out of the ones I’d ordered, I would rather of them told me this. To be fair they say they are going to give me a full refund.

Ordered a lime tree. Expected something bigger! 8 inches tall does not cut the mustard. How long am I expected to wait until I get a lime!!

Suttons have been in business a very long time and their plants were always of high quality. It seems since they got together with Thomson and Morgan last year the quality has declined catastrophically as they have descended to the level of T&M whose name was never associated with quality. In the course of the last year Sutton's reputation has effectively been destroyed by this new set-up and judging by the latest reviews it can't be long before they fold.

Tiny Tim tomato grew to 3 inches and stagnated so produced no trusses. Wild blueberry costing £3-99 failed to germinate. Description stated 50 seeds but the pack contained what looked like specks of black dust so its hardly surprising the seeds failed. Atal leeks sowed the entire pack and 7 seeds germinated. All in all a veryunsatisfactory experience so I won't be ordering from Sottons again.

I ordered this 12 runner bean plugs descibed on the website as: Runner Bean Plants - Super Trio Collection 12 Garden Ready Plugs (a mix of the 3). I assumed that I would get 4 plugs of the 3 varieties. When they arrived there was no indication which plug was from which variety. I rang Suttons to be informed that I could tell by the different colour flowers. That woud be some time after i planted. I was told as this was a mix Suttons had no idea which plug was which variety. I was told that there was no guarantee that I would in fact get 4 of each variety. Indeed I might get 0 of one (or even possibly of 2) variety. Suttons claimed that a mix of the 3 might just be all of one variety. I was planning to share these with a friend as I do not need 12 plants. Just have to hope that I get a selection and as planned I can then see which variety I like.

Part of my order is missing. It is impossible to contact Suttons. Disappointing that a longtime respected firm has sunk to such a low level of customer service.

I will not be using this company again. When I placed my order I didn't receive an acknowledgement email, so I had no idea if my order had been placed. I ordered various items amounting to £50. Until now I have received six pathetic looking Petunias and a packet of seeds. I sent an email and was told that this could take up to nine days for a reply. I've now been told that one of the items is not available and that another may be delivered this week, no guarantee. People should be aware of this awful company, who don't seem to have a clue.

Told plug plants were dispatched with a Whistl tracking ref logged on to Whistl they don't recognise tracking number. Checked Royal Mail just in case but not known there.

I ordered plugs a month ago they finally replied to my e-mail promises me the plugs would arrive today but still no plants not very happy with this will not buy any more plants fron Suttons.

I ordered seeds potatoes, two different types, only received one. Have been emailing for weeks with no response. Would suggest you give them a miss when ordering.

Put in a 2nd order in by mobile to you...did seem to take a long time on the phone, now I know why! The call cost me £13.59🤬 I think you should remove the 0844 number,I didnt see it...I wont be ordering again.

First & last time used - if you order anything else but bulbs or seeds don't use them. Anything that should arrive alive arrives dead or broken because of poor packaging. Genuinely disappointed.

Tried to place £60+ order online. Password refused. "Reset link below". Nothing. Phoned. "Computer says no" to live valid card. Ordered elsewhere.

After spending nearly full hour carefully choosing my plants and placing big order on the checkout was told my order cannot be delivered to my destination.what a waste of time!!! and please don't send me your catalogue again!

Disappointed with the plug plants I received - several dead due to lack of water either not watered prior to despatch or in transit too long. Complained & pleased with response & they are replacing.

I received my order a couple of days ago of Masterpiece Broad Beans. If I was only a novice at growing my own veg then I would have found these acceptable and sown them. However I have had an allotment for twenty four years now. On opening the packet I found the seeds to be the size of peas which appeared to be very old and shrivelled. Nothing like broad bean seeds. Very old. I have been very wary on ordering seeds from Sutton’s because of similar problems over the years. A few number of the seeds also had holes in them from insects and were unsuitable for sowing. I have ended up ordering broad bean seeds from another supplier and these are in perfect condition which is as they should be. I have to say that compared to many years ago when Sutton’s were the seed provider to go to, from my experiences over the last years that I have ordered from you your company is living on the reputation of your forbairs.

I ordered about £50 worth of vegetable seeds 10 days ago. 11 items in total, today I got a text from Dutton’s apologising but they could not supply the following items, they then listed all 11 pots of seeds I had ordered, I have today been to my local garden centre and guess what, they had near enough all the seeds I need and they are Suttons seeds. Goodbye Suttons.

Poor management of customer expectations! I placed an order over 12 months ago. I was informed that the order would take several months to arrive. Several months later, I was informed that they were not going to be able to supply the item at all. I was given a voucher and a refund, which was appreciated. Upon revisiting the Suttons website (a mistake in hindsight) in September, I saw something else I would like to purchase as a gift, which I was infromed would not be ready until just before Christmas, which was ok. Have just received the order, which wrong! C'mon guys!
