“Pack of 72 plants delivered in poor condition over half of them dead. Not Suttons fault. Our postage service is abysmal. My posture had been on holiday and on his return no parcels for his area had been delivered for 2 weeks. I contacted Suttons to suggest they change their delivery service(as well as a serious complaint to Royal Mail), they were very apologetic and said they would send me a new batch when ready. Received these today. Fresh, healthy plants. Now that is customer service that is rare to find these days.”

“JUST WANT TO SAY A BIG THANK YOU 😊 FOR THE ORDER I RECEIVED OF SPRING BEDDING AND BULBS. THE WALLFLOWERS, VIOLAS AND BULBS WERE OF EXCELLENT QUALITY AND SUPERBLY PACKED! I CAN CERTAINLY RECOMMEND SUTTONS FOR ITS CARE AND EXCELLENCE IN GROWING QUALITY PLANTS. I SHALL USE SUTTONS AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. HOWEVER, I HAVE READ THE MANY PREVIOUS REVIEWS WHICH ARE OF MUCH CONCERN, AND CAN ONLY HOPE MY EXPERIENCE WILL BE SHARED BY OTHER CUSTOMERS ORDERING FROM SUTTONS!”

“Well I have been looking at the reviews and feel very sad for all the people who have been disappointed. I myself ordered asters.nicotiana and petunias. Very healthy plants .I think I ordered in February so just before Covid 19 hit everyone. I feel all the plants people have been overwhelmed with orders as (we who are fortunate to have a garden) wanted to have instant colour . I was lucky and will be ordering again as I was delighted with all my colourful plants”

“I ordered 3lucky dip chilli plants in April. No major issues with delivery. They are all flourishing and I have masses of chilli peppers on each plant. Couldn’t be more delighted.”

“Bought a pretty wooden key box from Suttons recently, which had a damaged plinth on arrival. They promptly sorted this out, and sent me a new one. Also bought a Camelia plant, which was in perfect condition on arrival, and some lovely birthday wrapping paper inpregnated with seeds, which can be planted instead of disposing of it, helping to save the enviroment! Comprehensive selection of garden supplies and also gifts available from them.”

“Suttons have been slower than usual delivering this summer. However goods are in good healthy condition when delivered. I had one order which was not up to par. I wrote to Suttons explaining what had happened. They apologised and gave me a full refund. Thankyou”

“Bought cucumber plants all of which were destroyed. They replaced but they were still poor. 1 survived out of the 4. I also received 2 sweet pepper plants both of which have died. Previous years the plants have been excellent, I do wonder what has happened to them. I am scheduled to receive more plants at the end of the month. I will wait to see what condition they are in and if they are as poor as this year, I will replace from local plants garden centres”

“BOUGHT 3 LOTS OF GERANIUM PLUGS, 72 PER LOT, MIXED COLOUR ONES DELIVERED WERE FINE NAND GROWING WELL IN LIVING ROOM, THE OTHER 2 LOTS DELIVERED ALL RED COLOUR, SOME HAD NO LEAVES, SOME ALREADY DEAD, PUT IN BIGGER PLUGS TO GROW ON, HAD NEARLY 3 WEEKS,STILL ONLY 1 INCH HIGH, VERY WEEDY PLANTS, WILL NEVER GROW TO GO OUTSIDE, WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY, PHONED UP SUTTONS AND COMPLAINED MAN SAID SOMEONE WILL TELEPHONE ME RIGHT BACK THIS WAS LAST SATURDAY, STILL WAITING ON WEDNESDAY 1ST MAY 2024,THIS IS TERRIBLE SERVICE, TERRIBLE PLANTS, I HAVE ALWAYS DONE FLOER AND VEG GARDENING ALL MY LIFE , I AM NOT A NOVICE IN THIS SUBJECT AT ALL.”
