This is a scam and not an auction site. I thought at first it was a legitimate company because I wouldn't have thought PayPal would be associated with scammers. If you complain, Swoggi tries to avoid giving refunds using various excuses but they are not legally entitled to keep money they have acquired under false pretences. If you have been conned by these people you should report them to Trading Standards and seek advice from your credit card provider and C.A.B.

I was conned by Swoggi about a year ago. Can't believe that so many people are STILL being hooked by these fraudsters. I too was offered a refund minus their "fees". I was I contact with PayPal on quite a number of occasions which was a waste of time. Shame on PayPal for still being linked to these criminals. The first link I ever found to Swoggi was on a SKY site. As someone else stated, these "reputable" sites should made to bear some of the blame. ABSOLUTELY avoid SWOGGI at all costs.

Another penny auction site that is a total scam. They are quick at taking your money but do not make it clear how the site works. In fact a lot of the information on their site is inaccurate. They have even been singled out by the ASA. So do not get sucked in. Avoid at all costs. If you try to ask for your unused money back they will charge you £15 for the pleasure. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Swoggi are impossible to communicate with. I used Resolver to get in touch with them but to date I have no resolution. I have agreed to accept a refund of £40.50, Swoggi take £15 off you to cancel your membership. I cannot log into my account but cannot get Swoggi to communicate so no sight of my refund so far i strongly recommend do not get involved with this company

Nothing went wrong thankfully, I arrived at the Swoggi site from CNN via Outbrain, who could do with vetting their sponsors. The "review" was, as usual, written in typical, boring and obvious con language. I do believe the reputable and often high profile sites that host these scams should be held responsible for people's losses then I'm sure we'd see them vanish like ripples on a pond. That would be so nice.

It's obviously a complete scam, never-ending auction (in the loosest of terms) Each penny bid costs 50p meaning they just sold an Ipad for £2650 odd pounds and not the £500 odd listed and its the same people bidding/winning all the time. a complete rip-off.

Would rather give this company a 0... http://ww2.moneyexpert360.com/ms/ they hide behind this web address promoting swoggi as to make it look like another completely unrelated place has written an article about them! This way of using satellite sites is deceitful and WRONG the company or people behind this site should be fined, and prosecuted. You can click contact at the bottom and it emails to swoggi that is how I found out.

A complete Scam, when you ask for your money back they deduct a £15 administration fee per their Terms and Conditions. I have been fighting with Spohie for the last week to try and get all my money returned to no avail she keeps saying I should have read the T&C's when signing up. But its when you are registering that the problems arise, it grabs £50 and you get no say as to them deducting it from your card. A site to avoid in the future.
