I have been watching the Swoggi auction which should have finished on 30th November and today is 2nd December., for every £1 bid made by a potential buyers makes swoggi £50 ( 50p x 100 = £1.00), at the moment the item has a £60 bid this means Swoggi has made £3,000 (£50 for each £1.00 increase in the bid x 60 = £3.000) and the item is only worth £518 what a scam. Each bid is 50p x 100 = £1.00 increase in the bidding,so for each £1.00 you buy you get 2 bids, so if you purchase £100 of bids you only get 200 bids this equates to £2.00, because 100 bids increases the auction price by £1.00 Again what a scam

I, unfortunately, was also sucked into this scam and I never enter these things. I thought that I was paying $50 but $100 was taken from my account almost immediately before I could stop it. I put one bid on an i-Pad and then left the site. Every time I try to re-enter I'm told that my password is incorrect even though I know it is not, I'm told that an e-mail will be sent with my password, but it never arrives even though I've tried many times. there are no phone numbers, of course, so no way of contacting anyone. I'm going to see what I can do to get my money back.

I wish had googled reviews before stupidly bought credits for £25 on my debit card in a haste. It only took me an hour to realize this is a scam and impossible to win so decided to contact them. I e-mailed support asking for a refund to cancel my account. Firstly they said my e-mail address was not registered but it was missing a letter. Secondly, they could not return my money as they charge £15 for refunds! I asked to see their cancellation policy as it wasn't anywhere visible and how it's even possible I was registered when had mistakenly given wrong e-mail address? Even if only small amount is in question, I threatened them with lawyer and publicist to guarantee max bad publicity and a warning to other innocent people. My ipad and laptop were trying to warn me with message 'this site does not have not security certificate'. And I still stupidly persevered!!

I was silly enough to register with swoggi thinking it was similar to ebay but No! they took £50 out of my account straight away, I contacted them and explained the situation and the reply was I had £44.50 which i could have back but they would also take£15 off for other charges. So would only really get £29.50 back. again I explained that I had not purchased anything so felt they should waiver any charges and give me a full refund. Still waiting for a reply. PLEASE AVOID THIS SITE ITS A COMPLETE RIP OFF

I was conned out of £120 by these scam artists before I knew it ....nothing is explained . I purchased £50 of so called credits and before I knew it another £60 was taken ... I paid through paypal via my bank so I felt very protected .. when I contacted my bank { to cancel my card .. fearful more would be taken } and paypal they both wanted nothing to do with it .. something has to be done about this site I am amazed they are allowed to scam people in this way SHOCKING !!!

Martin Lewis of www.moneyexpert.com should be ashamed of himself! A review saying how great it was was written on the sight. I foolishly trusted the opinion and lost money without really understanding how it worked. I would love to hear from someone genuine ie a Martin Lewis who claim they won an i-pad within a few hours. No wonder he is wealthy he was probably paid handsomely to lead his followers to the slaughter. I do feel a little stupid but trust is a dangerous thing. Very clever scam. It must reap in millions worldwide to the unsuspecting.

Stupidly, I paid Swoggi £50 and started to bid for an item using their Bid Robot. It was not clearly stated on the website that each bid costs £0.50 and the bid price increments in £0.01 steps. I soon realised that my chance of winning was minimal but by then my bids had cost me £25. I contacted them to close my account and was informed that closure would cost £15. In an hour or so I was down £40. I am still waiting for the £10 refund! DON'T GO NEAR THIS RIP-OFF COMPANY. They must be making a fortune from these dubious practices.

I can't believe I nearly fell for this. I was just about to click on the button to buy some credits and get started and thought I would do a quick Google search first to see what other people make of Swoggi. The worst thing is I found about Swoggi from the MSN homepage in the top stories section someone had made a blog page about how to buy cheap electronics!

Feel like I have been mugged, this site is outrageous. Google should ensure that the reviews are the first point of contact. I am yet to find a positive review its a CON.

Another sucker here . I was also sent to the site from a different website that was shouting about how cool doggie was and after a little thought and quick look ,I figured that if it was genuine then "what a wicked idea " ,after my first deposit and several boring hours I was left with nothing .I then spent a few days just watching the site and testing out my scam possibilities .SORRY but either it's a total scam with auto bots working for the site or the way the site and the rules work make it just a total waste of time and you will be left feeling like a total plonker . I think maybe a few sales are allowed through now and then so there is a small chance you will be lucky but it would be really interesting to know just how many people leave the site happy and with a bargain .here's my observation of the last few days . star wars knife set = valued at £90 (just a set of knives ) the entire auction was a battle between 2 names from start to finish .now and again someone would put a bid in but it was unbelievable to watch and I can't believe that 2 REAL people were doing it .it lasted over 24hrs with the same 2 names and was stopped at a sale price of £30.61 .that's 3061 bids each costing 50p. That means each bidder paid over £1000 for a knife set worth £90 . maybe it was a couple of rich bored people .either way scam or real ,when the names involved are on screen it means don't bother to bid because you WONT win ,unless it is a scam and the site operators decide to let you win . I continued to watch and checked out what the names bid on etc and I might be wrong but I think it's just a great big scam .it is possible that someone might be happy to pay a grand for a knife set but drop out of a iPad sale .certain regular names are never on the same auction but stop and change .enough .I had to try and save someone a big waste of time and money .

My first introduction to Swoggi was through one of those money type sites and so I thought it was a legitimate auction site. So, guess what, I signed up to it and paid £25 through Paypal for 50 credits and started bidding. The bid increases by 1p per bid for which you pay 50p and it is forever dropping to 1 second to go and guess what, goes to another few seconds because, someone else has bid, or the system is set to automatically bid until Swoggi's price is achieved. Think of the figures here, I started for an Ipad at £17.00, the bid increments of 1p were charged at 50p per bid. I watched it go up to £187,17 - that is £170 worth of 1p bids charged at 50p/bid. So, Swoggi earned 170 x 100 x .5 = £8500 - for an Ipad?????

I should have mentioned in my previous review that they put auctions out for ipad airs and i pad minis with the time of the end of auction so you bid hard thinking that the auction is about to end only to find they extend the auction time and time again so you don't know where you are. I lost 100 pounds. I realised there was something drastically wrong and phoned bank to block payment but bank said the company was a merchant and would not stop payment.
