“We have bought lots of accessories and had service work carried out by them over the last ten years but called in today and was told they would not look at my Bailey under warranty as it was not bought from them. I queried this and said that Bailey would still pay them for warranty work which they agreed, but as I hadn’t bought this caravan from them they would not look at it . I will not spend another penny in this place now. I bet they would quite happily service the caravan though or store it !”
“Please be advised that when you go to collect your caravan and undergo the handover process, it is crucial to thoroughly inspect your caravan for any signs of water ingress. It is important not to solely rely on the assurances given by Teeside Caravans regarding the testing and absence of water ingress or dampness.
During our visit to collect our Elddis Explora 340, we were informed prior to the handover that the caravan had undergone dampness and water ingress testing, assuring us of its dry condition. However, before proceeding with the handover, I decided to inspect the front window and lifted the internal black seal runner, only to discover that the wood surrounding the entire window was damp and discolored. Upon bringing this to the attention of the salesperson, they expressed shock at the finding. Consequently, I chose not to proceed with the sale and was fortunate enough to receive a full refund.
It is disheartening to realize that had I not noticed the leak, I would have unknowingly purchased a caravan with a longstanding issue. This experience has left me with a strong conviction to never engage in any future dealings with Teeside Caravans.”

“I recently had some minor repairs done on my Swift Conqueror caravan at TC. The work was carried out entirely to my satisfaction and the staff I dealt with could not have been more helpful. From the gent who moved my van and hitched it up for me to the reception staff, they were all most helpful and friendly. We did ask a lot of questions as it was our first time but Steve made us feel at ease and answered everything and told us there was no daft questions and we could ask as many as we wanted.
When we collected our caravan Steve was with us and did a step by step video for us to refer to which has been really helpful.

This company wins the award of "worst customer service" ever.
After purchasing our caravan new in June 2016 from this company, we had various issues and it was returned under warranty. On nearly every occasion they blamed us for incorrect use. Ie. External paint discolouring was blamed on us for cleaning it with inappropriate cleaner. To be told later that it was a manufacturing issue.
The latest is we have water dripping inside the caravan through a light switch and the front window blind is wet. I reluctantly called their service to be told that there would be a £54 fault finding fee which is not refundable even if they find a fault under warranty. The caravan is 3 years old and has a 10 year water ingress warranty with swift. It has been serviced every year, therefore I would expect this to be free of any charge.
So congratulations to Teesside Caravans. You have exceeded our expectations again and have not disappointed us. Keep up the good work.
We have now booked it into Tyneside Caravans who laughed when I told them of their charges.”
