“Boat was great, food was brilliant and the guests were impressed. Staff weren't friendly very friendly. We weren't greeted by anyone when we arrived on the boat and we didn't have a clue who was who or who we needed to speak to if we had any queries. One gentleman in particular (Tracy) was extremely rude and unhelpful. Made us feel unwelcome, so much so that I complained to the bar manager and captain about him. He was rude, and it seemed everything was a problem for him. I had to ask 5 times for the bunting to be put up outside, this again was a problem for Tracy who when I asked him if it was possible he said in the most arrogant of tones "well we didn't know where you wanted it". I had already specified with Nicolle where we wanted it, but due to her lack of communication throughout our whole booking process this was probably not communicated to the staff. The cordless microphone was temperamental and didn't work properly making it hard work for our auctioneer to carry out the auction properly. The bottom bar wasn't open because apparently I didn't request it to be opened. When I was originally shown around the boat by Nicolle I wasn't told that I needed to 'request' that the bar was to be open on the night. If I had known that I would of course asked for it to be open as everyone has to queue for a long time at the upstairs bar which was ridiculous. The only person that seemed to be helpful was Kristen who took over when Nicolle left. Unfortunately I probably wouldn't use or recommend TLC again due to that one person who made me and my team feel unwelcome which is a shame because our guests had a great time.”
