The Author Incubator was founded as a home for life coaches and other healing professionals committed to writing books that make a difference.

Unlike other publishers, which often focus on book sales and revenue for the publisher, we are committed to the success of our authors in the creation of the book, the publishing of the book, and in the promotion of the book and related programs, and to the readers in getting them the help and personal transformation they need.

“I came into The Author Incubator wanting to write a book about suicide because I had so many clients last year tell me that the work they did through my program saved their lives and allowed them to let go of suicidal ideation. The problem I knew, and that Angela quickly and gently told me, is that depressed people don't want to read a book about suicide. That was not the book that would help my people. Working with Angela on how to share tools that I knew were saving people's lives, but in a way they wanted to receive completely changed the way I saw my business. My experiences come from my own path travelling through, being a teacher (professor of Physics, could not find out your Ph. “First, I would like to say that you had me with the webinar you put out and describe the way you put your team together and publish. I didn't do it because I really don't have money to spend on it right now. Ok. This video is informative and leaves out one thing that is important to the person who gets upfront money. They will be asked by the publisher to pay back the money if they don't sell any books. That's important to know if you get this loan that you will have to pay it back. The video moves very slow, as if you were talking in slow motion. I speeded it up to 1.5 and it seemed about the right speed. It's a long video and you could share the same information with 9 less minutes to explain. You sound like you are defending in "frustration" borderline angry explaining. Instead you could explain the value and benefits for choosing to pay. I respect what you do for people that want to publish a book. Many blessing to you and your staff.”

“Guess I'm one of the "don't get it". I did pay to publish but don't know how I did. My publisher is in jail and the company closed. I'm now looking into self publishing. It sounds like if I get an advance, it's paid back as books sell then if book sales die, it might be a win-win if there are at least enough sales to cover the advance. If the book dies, I have the advance but little hope of "the next book", so I'm screwed and the publishers screwed. Guess I have to go with self publishing as my destiny is mine.”

“Honestly, I had an idea of what she was speaking about. Of course, why would anyone give you something in advance...without the prospect of getting even more or breaking even with the advance that they are giving you actually your own profits (money)? I am going the self-publishing avenue (Amazon, etc.) to cut cost and to regroup my expenses and continue to write more books.”
