GREAT PRICES & very helpful and charming guy but no one answered the phone for a critical hour when I wanted to go ahead, but needed to check if the 055 was any different from the 054 battery before I ordered it to make the next day delivery- I left messages. I finally got answered AFTER ordering & advised to check my batt position-did that rang back to cancel my order b4 it was processed, but again no answer. Eventually I did get answered & the guy cancelled my order but I must wait for £ to return to my CCard.. All 3 suitable for my car were out of stock - hope you get more in. Cheers

Firstly the company refused to honour either of 2 discount deals on DealsDaddy - see photo. Then, despite me ordering before 3pm on Thursday and paying extra for next day delivery, the battery has only just arrived and 14:19 on Monday.

Yes fast in delivering but when the battery is faulty they tell u send it back and don't care that they don't give u another in its place so Ur car can run..and when told this they don't care yes u only care about getting your money that's why.. absolutely foaming

The batteries was too small plus they never contacted me saying that my order is on the way I did not have a tracking which was really annoying

Is false advertising illegal UK? Under the Act it is an offence for an advertiser/trader to make false claims about goods, services or prices. ... EU laws also ensure that misleading advertising is forbidden in all Member States. 1/ I asked for a battery 249 Dynamic silver that you have advertised saying it has 95AH and CCA 850 and i went in bought what you advertised on your web page What i received was 249 Dynamic silver 90Ah and CCA720 which is not what i asked for and paid for . I wanted what you were advertising WHY did i not get the correct battery and what are you going to do about it ? Regards Not a happy customer

Terrible customer service. I ordered a new battery on next day delivery, but on delivery the battery was damaged & I did not accept it from the courier. I called the batteryguys to ask that they send out a replacement for the next day so my car was back on the road, but they told me they did not trust their customers to report a fault, and that the courier needed to return the battery to them before they would issue a replacement. I spoke with their customer services team at length who told me their management was on holiday, but when I called back later in the day I spoke with one of their directors - Simon Henry, who was n more helpful, and explained that he would not make any profit out of my business because they are not insured for damaged goods being replaced. He also refused to refund my money until the battery had been reported as damaged by the courier - eg. that i was a liar, and that no other online retailed takes the word of the customer. terrible service & I strongly recommend you order elsewhere.

Good morning, I am very sorry that you did not have a favorable experience with The Battery Guys. Our policy on the matter is that we will always replace goods damaged in transit once we receive proof of the matter, either from the customer or our courier company who will inform us of any dammages.

BEWARE AVOID AT ALL COST - Using the Number plate recognition, i put in the correct number plate. Got sent the incorrect battery for my vehicle, power too small and pysical dimentions far too small. I complainted, their responce is, should have check dimentions, we are not liable for it being incorrect. I had to either pay to have it returned or the cost of their cdourier service will be deducted from the refund. Their internal mistake, but custmomer has to pay for it. Make me wonder if they created a "BUG" t1his on purpose. I ended up going to my nearest Eurocar parts using the regular promo code. This ened up being cheaper that these guys!!!

Hi Darren, I am sorry that your experience with The Battery Guys did not live up to your, or our high expectations. Our registration checkers are 99% accurate, like most computer databases. This is why we ask all of our customers to check the dimensions of the existing battery and terminal layout before ordering to ensure the battery is correct for your vehicle. I would always trust your eye and a tape measure over a computer any day of the week. If you ever have any doubt, in future please call one of our operators, who will be more then happy to help

OMG i wished i read the reviews before i bought the battery. This person's review is exactly (EXACTLY) same situation i have experienced. Misleady and mentioned the disclaimer. Which i pulled them up on stating it is their service and tool provided to choose a battery. ""Shame i couldn't give zero stars. I chose a battery with the correct measurements however when the battery arrived the layout of the battery was not suitable for my car. The positive and negative terminals was on the wrong side. The battery that I bought had no layout of the terminals like the other batteries the + and - were both silver on the picture. I just assumed the battery would have been compatible with my car seeing as I did enter my car details. I had made the phone call Friday early evening and the lady on the phone told me to wait until Monday for a phone call to sort out a replacement as they were closed weekends and assured me the replacement would be sent out by Tuesday. Today is Monday, I had no phone call, I rung them for them to say they will not waiver the 15 pounds for returning the battery. Even when I said I'll take the correct battery if they were to waiver the 15 pounds which I thought I shouldn't have to pay,they still refused to waiver the 15 pounds. So I was forced to take a refund. Now I've got to wait another day for courier service to take the battery, and God knows how many days for a refund. I have been and will be without a car for up to two weeks now. Bad service. They do not care about customer satisfaction at all. DO NOT SHOP HERE it is not worth the hassle.if anything goes wrong." Hi there, I am very sorry that your experience with The Battery Guys did not live up to the high standards of service we set for ourselves. We do try to communicate to our customers before purchasing to double-check the post layout and dimensions of the battery. However, when this situation does occur we are more than happy for you to ship the battery back to us, in accordance with our returns policy and offer the customer either a refund or a replacement. The £15 collection fee you mentioned is a service we offer as we understand that shipping a 20kg battery through the post can be difficult for a lot of people.

Having used The Battery Guys several times before with no issues, in fact have been pleased with their service, I decided to use them again. However, this time, I have still not received my item after 7 days, not even acknowledgment to say I have made the purchase, even through I received the email from PayPal immediately that the payment had gone through from them. Still waiting for any sort of communication from The Battery Guys!!!

Terrible service, should not advertise as Next Day Delivery if your cut off point is 3pm Friday with orders received after that delivered the following Tuesday!

I wanted a new battery for a MK1 MX5. The website reccomended a suitable battery that I ordered. Unfortunately it is far too big to fit into the car's battery holder so not impressed with the service and will not be using the company again.

I cannot review the product since tge courier (DHL) failed to deliver within their own scheduled time window. What asses of a delivery service! Wouldn't be surprised if the battery is being thrown about in their vans and from depot to depot.

Still not received my battery , was told it was delivered and to a different address and I had to go and get it myself, very poor service and the courier service is rubbish
