I used the website site battery finder and selected the recommended battery Fantastic Arrived v quickly - Disaster - did not fit :-( Now sourcing an alternative from elsewhere as no confidence.

I ordered my battery on Thursday and still haven't recieved it ? It was meant to be the next working day and it is now 17:10 on Monday

Shocking service, purchased a battery £82 got it delivered 27th December it was for a classic car which I'm restoring I gave the model etc to make sure they gave the correct battery. Contacted them to say it was the wrong battery and did not fit into the battery tray. Because it was over 7 days in contacting them (given it was the holiday period) I would be charged 25% handling charge plus £15 postage fees even although THEY sent me the wrong battery... joke of a company. Ended up going to Euro Car Parts great service and the battery was much cheaper £51 and it is more superior than the one I got.

Purchased a battery arrived just before I went on holiday , stop start stopped working , poor charge but didn't have time to return at the time. On return battery flat . Charged used for one 300mile trip, new alternator recently fitted , alarm kept going off due to poor battery. Swapped back to original and in the end paid to return . The battery guys claimed battery was good on their testing ( I have no way of knowing which battery the test report referred to so cut my losses and accepted a partial refund . In all the experience and no battery cost me about £50. Could not state clearly enough do not buy from these people the product quality is rubbish and everything to do with returns is in their favor . Steer well clear. They are not even that cheap !

Purchased a battery which I only had for 6 months and it let me down on many occasions over the last 2 months. Emailed them and was told to post it back to them. This was difficult and costly so suggested that I send the mechanics report and proof of purchase of a new battery. I was then told that they believed there was nothing wrong with the battery and I should post it to them. I would not recommend this company due to their extremely poor customer service. Will not be using this company again,. Steer well clear at all costs!!!

I ordered a Dynamic 664 heavy duty battery for my Landrover Defender from The Battery Guys. I wanted one with a charge indicator or a 'magic eye' as it is referred to so I went for the Dynamic 664 which is advertised on line as having one. The battery turned up the very next day, which I must say I was impressed with this this very fast delivery. Unfortunately it did not have the charge indicator as advertised on the website, and I contacted them today to say that I think that they may have sent the wrong battery. When I rang, I spoke to someone who didn't seem to have a clue with what she was doing... I informed her that there was no charge indicator, to which she replied.." but there is no indicator on that battery"...I said that the website said it did! I said that if I had known this, I would have gone for the slightly higher CCA battery which is the Dynamic 094.... I asked her to take back the battery and give me the 094....I hate to be nasty in any way, but she really was lacking in grey matter. Her excuse was that the company was recently taken over and that not everything on the website is correct....what? Eventually I said that this was a very bad reflection on the company....I desperately need a battery, so I'm going to have to just swallow this and put it in my car.... So if you want a fast delivery, use this company, if you want good customer service...think again!

The address for delivery is occupied 24/7. The delivery employee refused to deliver the battery to the address because the address was a first floor flat! Zero out of 10 for effort with delivery. Caused a great deal of unnecessary problems due to a lazy delivery man. Not impressed at all!

bought a battery from these guys and it lasted 4 months. they tried blaming the alternator for damaging the battery, having took the car to two separate garages both garages said the same thing Alternator was fine and battery was defective when sold to me. got no refund from these cowboys, who stuffed me for £85 for a defective battery. best steer clear people!

Ordered a battery at lunchtime for next working day delivery. 6 days later it still has not arrived. I live 10 mins off the A1 next to a dual carriageway, in Yorkshire, so hardly a remote spot. Nothing from the vendor to report any problems with order, and my payment has left my account.(After 5 days they said they would send me a tracking number but none arrived). Am attempting to get my money back!

DIABOLICAL SERVICE, FIRSTLY I GET A TEXT INFORMING ME OF DELIVERY BETWEEN 22.15 AND 23.15, UNFORTUNATELY I WOULD BE IN BED LONG BEFORE THIS, WHEN THE DELIVERY ARRIVED I SPENT OVER ONE HOUR TAKING MY OLD ONE OUT OF MY CAR ONLY TO FIND THAT THE BATTERY THEY HAD GIVEN ME WAS WAY TOO BIG FOR MY VEHICLE, I WAS THEN PROMISED A CALL BACK BY A TECH GUY AND WHEN THIS DID NOT HAPPEN I CALLED BACK TO BE INFORMED THAT THE CALL IS COMING BUT THE MAN IS AT LONDON HEATHROW AT THE MOMENT, PROBABLY DONE A RUNNER BECAUSE NOBODY HAS CALLED ME AND I AM FUMING, TAKE MY MONEY AND DELIVER THE WRONG ITEM THEN HAVE THE CHEEK TO NOT CALL AS PROMISED, NOW I AM GOING TO CANCEL THIS ORDER AND DEMAND THEY COLLECT THIS BATTERY AND GIVE ME A TOTAL REFUND, I ALSO CHECKED WITH HALFORDS WHO HAVE AFFIRMED I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE INCORRECT BATTERY THAT WILL NOT FIT INTO MY TRAY IN THE BONNET, KEEP CLEAR, THESE ARE COWBOYS.

Ordered at 11am on Tuesday for promised next day delivery. I received a call at 3:30 pm to say sorry but 'for some unknown reason' my order would not be delivered as promised. They offered delivery on Thursday instead - thanks that's a lot of use when your car is off the road. I cancelled and ordered from a reliable supplier. My advice is to stay well clear.

so far extremely poor customer service! bought battery on Monday, next day delivery was supposed to be Tuesday Today is Wed and still no battery! no confirmation txt or email yesterday, rung customer services just to be told they unable to help me to track the package as its with the delivery company! today got txt mgs at 10 am, informing me of delivery slot between 13.24-14.24 hours, its 16.10 now and still no battery ! outrageous ! so far took two days off work , please don't trust this company!

You may get a cheap battery but that's where it ends. A company is as good as it's guarantee, so you can forget "The Battery Guys" if you need to claim. Buyer beware. There are lots of better companies out there so do yourself a favour.

Warranty not worth the paper it is written on.battery still under warranty had about a year left. will not hold charge.sent video evidence.showing volt meter.sent emails.gave my phone no. Responded at first then started to ignore emails and did not bother to phone.wanted me to send battery back for them to charge.would have cost me more to send back than what the battery was worth.think twice before you buy from these guys.in the long run would be cheaper to buy locally, as it would of cost about £50 just to send back for them to try to charge it up.

Disaster - order all went through online, not a hitch, feeling very satisfied on Saturday - bubble burst on Monday when the phone call advised "we don't do Ireland". I live in Northern Ireland, which clearly isn't now in 95% of the UK. Sounds like a rant - well it is!
